Make sure you get as much training as possible before raising your expectations. It will be easier for you later when business expects senior output from you but you are under constant pressure on both personal and professional fields.> The high is in expecting an outcome, desiring it, imagining it, not in its fulfillment.

Well couldn't you be a "hacker" in terms of UX, product design and other things as well?
Some of those requests are very important and will benefit with actual real monetary results, but he has to personally escalate it through hierarchy and force dev team to break their sprint rules and force them to work on it.
In other words he has to make them be agile by force.
Restful nature of the Web is giving good structure on which to build and time shows that evolution, instead of forcing one good solution, is much better way for technology adoption when it comes to the masses.
Let me just point out that this is the hardest part of being the professional. Reasons for this are many. One example is that larger context can be obscure to you due to bad company organization/management.
Elon has specific role in "production". If his work/energy/decisions are going to spawn new factory, new technology or new product that is going to improve productivity of millions then by all means his income is justified by his productivity.

This is not true. Emphasis on "all cases". If you create money at exactly the same rate as the economy's produce grows than money has it's background in actual "things" that have value.
As for other arguments I think author was trying to convey very complex subject in 30 minutes of video. Of course there will be certain generalizations so he can better convey the message.
