aMoniker··on The Cost of Cracking
I cracked the screen of my iPhone 3G a few years back. Rather than get it replaced, I decided to keep it like that since the touchscreen was still perfectly functional. aMoniker··on Sprint orders all OEMs to strip Carrier IQ from their hardware
If you are really reading between the lines, realize that he is not doing what is best for customers, but what is best for his business. In this case he is serving both, but his motivations lie with the latter.

aMoniker··on What are the odds that you exist?
This is neat, but the odds that I exist are 1 in 1 since this is the only possible permutation of the universe.

Go ahead, prove it isn't.

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
