Changelog: https://github.com/iojs/io.js/blob/7c89c4c7acdaa2035ec42195a...
_yfoe··on Show HN: Distraction Free Facebook Messenger, a Chrome Extension
Not OP, but here's some off the top of my head:

* group chat

* facebook stickers

* easy(ish) file uploads

_yfoe··on DMCA Takedown Notice for Popcorn Time and Time4Popcorn
The .io project is a different fork from the original project than the one referred to by this post.
_yfoe··on Ask HN: What browser add-ons/extensions do you use?
I've cut down on the extensions I use over the years. Here's my entire list:

* HTTP Switchboard - useful for debugging/blocking annoyances, also doubles as an adblocker

* LastPass - honestly, I'd probably be using 1Password if they had a linux client

* PDF Viewer - Mozilla endorsed drop-in pdf.js plugin

* Smile Always - converts amazon.com uris to smile.amazon.com, which donates a portion of your purchases to charity

_yfoe··on Ask HN: Why are commas not allowed in urls?
The Onion has their article urls in the format:

http://www.theonion.com/articles/scientific-community-baffle...

/articles/slug,id/

_yfoe··on Ask HN: What domain registration and DNS service do you use?
dnsimple (https://dnsimple.com)
_yfoe··on Where is my lean browser for browsing gone to?
Try Midori? Runs on Webkit, has all of the base features of the other major browsers (web inspector, bookmarks, etc) without the cloud/syncing features or addons.
_yfoe··on Ask HN: Help, I'm stuck on HN
https://github.com/jcromartie/gsd.sh

I added a pull request to add in linux support, so this should work on both osx and linux platforms now.

_yfoe··on Ask HN: Give me some list of movies about Entrepreneurship and Technology...
Not a movie, but Masters of Doom is a great book about the rise of ID Software (http://www.amazon.com/Masters-Doom-Created-Transformed-Cultu...)
_yfoe··on Is Google using depressing CSS with IE?
Haven't seen it at all while logged in, but sometimes incognito SERPs will have the washed out color.
_yfoe··on Are HN comments broken for everyone?
Same experience here.
_yfoe··on Ask HN: Where can one find Github's source code?
GitHub is not open source.
_yfoe··on Ask HN: I'm a high school student. Is my job searching strategy flawed?
Haven't heard of the Foundation Podcast before/will definitely take a look at it. Thanks for the heads up!
_yfoe··on Ask HN: I'm a high school student. Is my job searching strategy flawed?
I absolutely see what you mean about releasing polished projects-- you're saying I should spend some time getting products launched for real instead of just taking on learning projects repeatedly. That's a good message to take to heart. :)

Not overly harsh at all! Thank you for the valuable advice and the heads-up on the dead domain.

_yfoe··on Ask HN: Which linux distribution are you using?
Arch, running Compiz + xfce4-panel.
_yfoe··on Ask HN: Code for forum with threads and up/downvotes?
Reddit? https://github.com/reddit/reddit
_yfoe··on Show HN: Women Entrepreneurs Networking Site
Is that what the green highlighted usernames represent-- new users?
_yfoe··on Python Libraries you should know about
The comparison should be moot, because Beautiful Soup 4 uses the lxml parser when it's available: http://www.crummy.com/software/BeautifulSoup/bs4/doc/#specif...
_yfoe··on Qtile 0.5 released – pure Python tiling WM
No, it runs on top of an X server like any other desktop environment (GNOME, KDE, etc)
_yfoe··on Ask HN - Your favorite programming font?
Droid Sans Mono.
_yfoe··on Ask HN: What are some Chrome extensions that you wish you had?
Second one already exists.

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lacckjdlmkdhcacjdo...

_yfoe··on What hardware do Full-time Linux users use?
I've had bad luck with video drivers for AMD and Nvidia cards on most distros, so I'd stick with Intel whenever possible.
