Since you are thinking about this in highschool, you are on the right track. There is not a AI dominated future that isn't driven by Software Engineers. You can either be an engineer creating AI/ML tech or an engineer using the AI/ML tech.

There will also be a very long tail of "traditional" software engineering. But if you are still 4-5 years out from your "career" - you probably wont want to count on a traditional software engineering job.

Based on the success of GitHub Co-Pilot and OpenGPT... I would steer clear of specializing in low-code applications. A model that can chat a non-tech person through the creation of low-code type applications is only a training data-set away.

My perspective on why this is so contentious is because two things are true: 1) This is one more step on a long road to viable fusion power plants. Every step is important and we've been taking steps like this for a long time and will continue for a long time. 2) This step is being cheer-leaded as the step in order to score political points. Since #2 is happening, it is preventing reasonable celebration about #1.

It does seem to be a networking issue. I have a ec2 instance in us-east-2 that is accessible through a "Global Accelerator" but not externally through my ISP.

That ec2 instance can talk to other ec2 instances that are on us-east-2 - but none of those other instances are accessible externally.

This is also my question that all the people wearing their smart lawyer hats seem to be claiming but not explaining.
