Also, the thumbs up/thumbs down buttons are switched in the yt music ui vs GPM. Bad ux across different products... Par for Google, I guess.
I'm ashamed to admit I've spent an hour on this site...
I use an OTA antenna hooked up to my plex server for dvr and just pay for internet now. Much better experience.
My only concern here is vm escape and Libre office are two VERY big targets for nation state actors. (libreoffice had an exploit exposed in the vault7 leaks) It's a tradeoff for being able to safely open "totallynotphishingexe.pdf" on windows or osx.
It got me thinking about a lot of ways we go about teaching. Math for example - my partner struggled with calculus in uni when presented an equation she hadn't seen something similar to before. It never occurred to me that people couldn't attempt to "graph" something in their head.
I used that ten years ago back when the play store was called Android Market because it had addons and I thought it was the bee's knees. I still rotate through chrome, chrome canary, Firefox, Firefox focus, opera, and sometimes nightly builds of Firefox just to see what's getting tinkered with lately. Firefox still my daily driver though.
Obviously everyone is different and YMMV, but for me- ketamine has been the only thing that made a real impact, bonus was the lack of nasty antidepressant side effects (I'm still taking an SSRI, SNRI, and a mood stabilizer and I hate them).
I'm hopeful that some of the new ketamine+___ compounds being created to extend the duration of the 'depression slightly lifted' feeling are successful and come to trial soon.
I've got my eyes on that dev kit for sure. Having an offline voice assistant is something I've wanted for a while, privacy is much more important to me than the hardware support that echo and Google home have. Thanks for dropping that link!
