These may not be games you'd want to play but the important message is that it's concerning that the biggest publishers (Ubisoft, EA etc.) can release stuff that will randomly die at some point in the future for no good reason and that they won't even release a patch or server software so you can play the product you paid them for.
*Not as much as 0.1a but there's still kinks to be worked out for 0.1c.
Bonk got a fab conversion by Factor 5 but they were wizards.
I want a FUN standard. I want to make cool looking sites that are relatively scalable based on user hardware.
Alternatives like Gopher and Gemini never really scratched that itch due to how sterile they are.
Will definately give this a peruse.
The UK police love to go after "soft" targets and there's no-one softer than someone who's life can immediately be ruined by arresting them and thus getting them fired due to missing work.
Edit: I now see you mean "host their own personal content" but the point still stands.
That seems like the sort of thing that this would tie to, seeing as this tracks prophylactic status and nothing else.
I suppose that's why they were all the rage in childrens' books and museums around that time.
Although, like many more famous people who've made this observation: Where's the "fun" in less chocolate?
Most likely some beef with Autodesk.
Also I'm not sure whay JB is expecting in 5 years when he releases a paid version and all the languages that were inspired by it are more commonplace.
Wouldn't this open up a giant legal loophole for people to claim that ther CSAM is "just Ai generated"?
Yes, mandatory watermarking could be considered a solution ...but it still introduces a giant layer of doubt.
Presumably one of the many reasons that Tao didn't catch on (although it was a common practise back in the dark ages...)
I wish that packages got their own folders as standard, contained all the required libraries and had unique "internal" names like java packages to avoid conflicts. Very much like what Android and Nix do.
It's a bit of a pain for the package makers and some may call it bloat but there's less chance of non-main-repo programs forcing you to connect to their own repo and potentially creating a franken distro if it's not been updated (or has been updated too far!)
The previous pixel AI I'd seen had this really awkward pillow shaded art-style but this is much better.
Can't say I'm looking forward to that.
