TeHCrAzY··on Google Buzz User Privacy Litigation Class Action Settlement Website
I thought you were exaggerating greatly, but it turns out you were not that far off...

"Class Counsel will ask the Court for attorneys’ fees of 25% of the Common Fund, plus reimbursement of costs and expenses."

Wow.

TeHCrAzY··on [dead]
Bought for the employees maybe?
TeHCrAzY··on We're bored, let's sue each other
Thats quite daft. Google clearly does plenty of innovation, not to mention Microsoft. Much more likely is that Google/Microsoft have such large patent portfolios and plenty of spare cash that suing them would be suicidal at best for most companies.
TeHCrAzY··on What’s Hindering Cloud Adoption? Try Humans.
Not only that they can be up today and down tomorrow, but that you only pay for the time you are using them, which is (relatively) insanely cheap:

TeHCrAzY··on Laughing Computer: A Google custom Search Engine for Programming Queries
Needs to show the full url, not just the domain, as I use that quite regularly to filter results manually, and to exclude likely duplicates.

TeHCrAzY··on Ask HN: Why do interviewers not give you feedback upon rejection?
Gosh, people must be bad at interviewing...turning up in business attire (no matter the company culture), turning your mobile off and arriving (reasonably) early are fundamentals.

I've never had a problem once getting to the interview stage and have been quite proud that I tend to be seen as valuable, but if thats the competition, I'm less impressed with myself...

TeHCrAzY··on Why Apple saddled the MacBook Air with "gimped" CPUs
I think you misread the article. The power difference stated is between the 11' and 13' processors. Atom processors use around 2.5w, which is 4 times less than the 11' processor in the air.

TeHCrAzY··on Today Apple announced the death of the optical drive in its laptops
Microsoft did this for windows 7, you could purchase online, download, run a small program which would setup the usb stick with the required files + make it bootable. Worked flawlessly for me.
TeHCrAzY··on Minecraft.net is down because of what I believe is an attack
Because it offers a centralised way of nuking players off your server. And if they want to play again, a new copy of the game is 15 dollars more expensive than refreshing your IP address.
TeHCrAzY··on The reverse job applicant
Well, you'd have 4 or 5 years of job experience, 4 or 5 years of a salary and no student loans.
TeHCrAzY··on Apple Has $51 Billion and a Shopping List. Is Facebook On It?
Perhaps talent + innovation?
TeHCrAzY··on Removing objects from video in real time
There is more information available, from the previous frames.

Its likely that more work is being done than just simply applying a similar algorithm to Photoshops re-synthesise to each frame.

TeHCrAzY··on Deleted Facebook photos persist in CDN cache 16 months later
Is it possible that, because they continue to access it, the expiry on the cache is being refreshed?
TeHCrAzY··on Microsoft announces NuPack, a new package manager for open source .NET libraries
it is open source, so I believe support could be put into mono etc.
TeHCrAzY··on Ask HN: When have you coded yourself out of a real-life problem?
Reminds me of grabbing a random .dll, renaming it to .doc, putting it on a floppy disk and handing it in, all to gain myself a few extra days to finish my assignment.
TeHCrAzY··on Humor on the web and how to stop it
win server 2k8 (r1) + Chrome.
TeHCrAzY··on 82% aren’t passionate about their work
Spending the 20% time on personal projects would essentially just be letting your employees take an extra day a week off, with the same pay.
TeHCrAzY··on Why are technical recruiters so clueless?
I don't have Facebook, and I don't use OpenId. What now?
TeHCrAzY··on Humor on the web and how to stop it
Are there any design/font people that can tell me why the font in the article is so hard to read?
