No offense, to you or your wife, but this statement is hilarious for several reasons!
Aside from that, I love it when a simple, old-school hack (TV antenna) is used to solve a big problem and provide better service than the big corporations.
I am going to use your response as a template to use for the rest of my life. It's perfect. Thank you in advance for the time and trouble you have saved me.
The pressure is increased while blame flows down The Hill through every office and cubicle. New procedures are set in place so that supervisors can tell their supervisors what steps they've taken to ensure there won't be another Snowden. Peons scramble to adopt these new procedures all while under closer scrutiny from everyone around them. Everyone, including the janitors, are pressed to find "traitors" in their ranks. All of this while harvesting/analyzing new data and shredding/deleting evidence. I'm guessing that $100,000+ salary is fast losing it's allure.
I'm not sure if this information is motivational or debilitating. :)
Did anybody else have quirks in their vision after reading this?
I went from reading this: http://article.olduse.net/771@mit-eddie.UUCP to this: https://37signals.com/svn/posts/3633-on-writing-interfaces-w... and had some weird focusing issues.
"The power of regret," what a powerful force. It's not often that we are able to use it in such a tangible way. The filmmaker's attempt to make amends may help us all to stop ignoring our neighbors.
Your artwork is excellent and I love the sentiment. I signed up and look forward to seeing more from you. Keep up the good work!
BTW, thanks for the free posters!
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Doing something now is the only way to prevent things from getting worse. I just wish there was a clearly defined, nonpartisan plan to fight back (peacefully). The sooner someone can create this step-by-step plan, the sooner the masses will know what to do. It must be spelled out for them and packaged right, and maybe advertised on the Discovery channel (little joke).
This truth is incredibly important and it isn't being said loud enough. It's being discussed in forums such as this, but not nearly enough by the media.
Anyone out there who can amplify and repeat this statement should do so.
I don't ride my bike out on the roads because of the danger of being hit. I often marvel at the courage, audacity, and sometimes foolishness of those who are brave enough to ride their bikes on our roads. There needs to be a stronger push to makes this safer.
Bike lanes should be in every city in the country. Everyone would be better off if there were bike lanes and bike use was encouraged. I realize that this probably isn't OP's intended point, but it's worth mentioning.
AdBlock and AdBlockPlus are free to run their company any way they want (within reason). However, this is a serious breach of trust. They should inform me of any change or re-direct they perform - before they do it.
Good work!
