Well worth it, if you are using this regularly.
This has a very Douglas Adam’s feel.
E.g. Waterloo Station would be considered South London but is actually at the same latitude as Buckingham Palace!
Hence why a Londoner would never describe Vauxhall as "Central".
Londoners would generally discount any part of this map south of the river from "Central London":

I feel there are lots of parallels in e.g. Maths education in the more generalised form:
In education, skills that allow you to utilise technology are prioritised and these are often directly opposed to skills needed for mastery.
Isn’t it fundamentally impossible to model a highly entropic system using deterministic methods?
My point is that animal brains are entropic and “designed” to model entropic systems, where as computers are deterministic and actively have to have problems reframed as deterministic so that they can solve them.
All of the issues mentioned in the article boil down to the fundamental problem of trying to get deterministic systems to function in highly entropic environments.
LLMs are working with language, which has some entropy but is fundamentally a low entropy system, and has orders of magnitude less entropy than most peoples’ back garden!
As the saying goes, to someone with a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
This was just the 1 year update.
Idea is that you go to be when you feel tired.

Much more directed/almost micro managing but it’s still quicker than me clicking around (in theory).
Edit: I’m interested to explore how much better voice is as an input (vs writing as an input)
To me, reading outputs is much more effective than listening to outputs.
I know people in Guyana doing real estate who may have opportunities. Email in my profile if you are interested.
Found this article which claims 7500BC.

Computers are measured in MHz and GHz. How do you even get close to that using mechanical means?
Speed is also a core value proposition (to use contemporary parlance) of computers I.e computers can carry out calculations at a rate of MHz/Ghz. If you want to talk in any meaningful sense of “computation”, and the usefulness thereof, speed of computation is a key metric.
I reckon cooling would be an even bigger concern than it is currently.
“Stamps? Coins? Comic books? You’ve GOT to be kidding,” thought David Cowan. “No-brainer pass.”
My understanding is that LFP is a fair bit safer so maybe regulators haven’t caught up?
Creation is downhill, analysis is uphill.
Profound ideas often seem simple once understood.

How did you get this?
They seem pretty tech savy! Wouldn't be surprised if they had some things to say about AI.
P.S. it's funny to see that same Corperate style from the 90s updated to 2020s.
"Why doesn’t Gemini know what I said earlier in a conversation?
Gemini’s ability to hold context is purposefully limited for now. As Gemini continues to learn, its ability to hold context during longer conversations will improve."
This reads more like a rant against Google’s search product.
Yes, Google might go under due to AI (Clayton says, thank you and goodbye) but that doesn’t mean the internet as a whole is doomed.
To be frank, the internet is already awash with dogshit. It’s doing pretty well so far.
Interesting to see the use of “Er” as a put down.
