Other people have given good positive practical advice on therapy, which I would recommend too, pick anyone and see if it works, if not move on. The therapist is not your friend and you don't need to worry about their feelings or long-term commitment upfront.
It's quite likely we're entering a period where the current baseline performance of core infrastructure will be considered "good enough" and companies won't employ people to work on these general improvements.

They'll make stock buybacks, and they'll pay out dividends, far less risky to their stock price and long-term management incentive schemes than most value destructive large acquisitions.
It's not just the hours of work to be done, the biggest challenge for me has been the pieces of work that need to be done on specific days at specific times, like one-off lectures, workshops, and so on, where I've had to say to my kids I can't take them places or play with them that day.
Instead they've aggressively rolled out IPv6 and carrier grade NAT where needed

It works fine over Cat6 yeah, but if you've not got that deployed then 2.5Gb or 5Gb is a good step up from 1Gb.

The most secure today is probably a Pixel 6 running a secure messaging app with a limited attack surface, no image support, no emoji, etc. Removing all the standard apps including the browser and Webview engine would significantly help.
If you could switch an iPhone into a secure mode which removed large chunks of messaging functionality then it would be the preferred option.
