Sure, you may be able to find 1 or 2 counterexamples, big tabacco also had a lot of "doctors" who found smoking not that bad.

It seems to me they made an algorithmic change a few years back where positive comment are greatly boosted. Since then then the "top" comments are always over-the-top exuberant.
Otherwise you're just creating a fire hazard.
Hopefully they've improved a lot recently?
As for the partial function application, there is already an RFC to add that, but it's not decided on as of now. [2]

A few thoughts:
I tried just htmx too, too limiting. Stimulus/Turbo combination is much better.
Use the right tool for the job. Highly interactive app, like an editor? Use react or similar js framework. Mostly page/document website? A backend framework is much faster and easier to develop, and much simpler to test.
Use what you know yada yada.
Can see why though, css has become very large and complex, and it's only getting worse.
The upside is that my simple fixes sometimes seem like a superpower to others.
No one should deny that that is plenty wrong with the western world and it's actions, but to suggest that a totalitarian regime, that engages in suppression of women and gruesome violence against protestors, is somehow equal or even superior is just plain wrong.
If it was just a link, people would just think that site was wrong, now they think that Google is wrong.

Only real difference is Firefox, is that turns out nicely on iOS I might try the other side again.
