That logic of the “break” keyword given a parameter is unusual compared to to other languages.
Maybe it was a bad example to use.
You might as well say what the second line of code does - will save me time replying again ;)
I have a colmi P8 and it was easy to get wasp-os uploaded and now have micropython available with direct connection into the watch!
Battery life is really only 24-48hrs if you don’t do anything heavy.
Sometimes I wonder how more useful it is than my apple watch.
Turns out that recent repos are not to shabby at all and all the other older repos are sort of kinda cute and show that I’ve been having about for some time.
And of course I have private repos for “pro” work.
My advice is to make public some recent serious work and all will be good.
Some years ago I had some epic battles with deploying some fancy software in several environments including online and internally on-premise servers.
I do like challenges but some experiences get old fast. Understanding why your software is failing when deployed, fixing deployment configuration files etc. The cognitive load becomes heavy having to remember, check and fix. On top of that deployment environments always differ enough to somehow require individual attention.
So, thats when the lightbulb switched on in my head. Using (docker) containers has completely removed these adventures in deployment. And I’m very happy about this, I don’t have to deal with that stress anymore.
Now, with more experience and a black belt in container kung fu, I’m understanding what the hype around kubernetes may mean but I’m also sensing that a David is around the corner to knock down this Goliath.
For this particular story none at all. Nothing.
LOL, yes same here. Can’t wait for Bluetooths b̶a̶l̶l̶s̶ baggage to be chopped.
If the script is external then it must be capable of making a http request to the server where a script does something similar to the scenario above.
Ouch, thats not looking good for a reference implementation for a piece of software deployed on billions and billions of machines that was written by experts and reviewed (and modified) by even bigger egg heads.
- Do I have to do anything now with all my “top-level” repositories (total >5GB)?
- When I create a new repository do I have to do something else as well (create new namespace)?
PLEASE can someone in plain english say what the limits are PER REPOSITORY? Is it 5GB per repository? can you have as many repositories as you want? I don’t care or use namespaces.
Its funny that the article uses a “chess champion” and a “concert pianist” as examples to to argue that you don’t question their occupations when it comes to being a benefit to mankind or not. I mean, the huge fucking salaries, where does the money come from? from fucking trees?
WTF! Seriously? I predict this will be one of the first article/HN post that has negative publicity for Jane Street .
