TechCrunch has a table that shows the comparison between advertised and real earnings: https://techcrunch.com/2017/01/19/uber-settles-ftc-lawsuit-c...
The author clearly didn't do his research, simply assuming that the vulnerability affects all Android devices:
> But there's no telling when it'll reach Android devices made by Samsung, LG and others. Blame the Android's fractured updating system, which is slowed down by phone manufacturers and cellphone network carriers.
That perspective seems self-centred.
As long as he can still be a source of joy to people around him and makes the world a better place in his own way, I'd say it's a life worth living.
Man in the middle attack does not require code execution because the data is already available.
In a sense, this bug is like having part of a keyboard sniffer already installed for you.
- He considers the 240x240 display an HD display
- He claims the watch has 4GB of RAM
His Kickstarter page is so full of BS materials that anyone with just a little bit of common sense and technical knowledge about smartphones should be able to tell this is not a legitimate project.
I would have preferred the colour scheme of Flat UI: http://designmodo.github.io/Flat-UI/
But I'm not a designer. There could be a valid explanation as to why the chosen pastel colours are the absolute best for iOS 7.
Seriously? If they had allowed offline play in the first place, the city size would only be limited by the player's own hardware.
They treat blue-collar foreigners as lesser humans.
EDIT: To clarify, I've only been to Qatar, UAE and Bahrain.
Just like the pattern lock (or face unlock and its variations) on Android phones, the idea is to encourage users to have at least some protection.
As an Android phone user, I hope to see this being adopted by the Android manufacturers (and I hope the Apple camp would shut up about people copying their idea).
But I suppose it's easy to criticise people with the benefit of hindsight.
"Microsoft Has 1 Million Server Datacenters" - Uh, that's not what Ballmer meant.
But as a link bait, this article must have been super successful.
Besides, the article includes links to more technical materials, including the project page should the reader want to find out more.
RE: Display - Just like normal TV set, you can select your preferred display mode on the S4. According to DisplayMate, the movie mode gives you the most accurate colours. Please read their detailed display shootout between the S4 and iPhone 5: http://www.displaymate.com/Galaxy_S4_ShootOut_1.htm
RE: Battery Life - Are you kidding? From my experience, iPhone 5's battery life is shorter than that of many Android phones.
RE: Call Quality - Wow. Really?
But I guess their mistake is pitching this as an iDevice charger from the start (see their video; very heavy focus on iDevices). And when they couldn't include a lightning connector, it became a deal breaker.
