Shouldn't the obvious solution be to fix the "permitting requirements" rather than spend 6x on building kn undeveloped land?
Should the purpose of laws to serve the people rather than to tiptoe around laws and claiming "be we have strict zoning laws"?
Why is there a law that you yourself call "insane"?
I see problems in LLMs doing research, making drafts, etc.
I see 3 kinds of potential users.
1. Non legal background people trying to avoid going to a lawyer. They should definitely NOT use an LLMs.
2. Fresh out of law school graduates.
They think they can do fast work, draft quick replies, do fast case research, enh. They should go the traditional route of interning, learning the "art", they probably won't need it because they will learn "how the law works"
3. Established attorneys. They usually have templates made for most things, over their career, they have established routines of making things fast, maybe it can help them but to say replacing good chunk of work or offloading to LLMs isn't probably going to go well.
There is a reason why interns are made to do grunt work. The "chain of command" is built so they learn on basic stuff, learn to make decisions, etc. Without these basic decisions under their belt, an intern can't take bigger decisions later on. They just won't know....
Iran for example is accused of silencing critics, when everyone else does so as a "normal thing" but Iran is the boogeyman.
I can only imagine the level of propaganda by Israel in trying to downplay their heinous crimes....
What are you on about

And it doesn't matter you use a connected phone or not, they just get data from ISPs.
And yes, using a VPN will get you knocked up as well.

Gapps is what exactly. I have stock android on oneplus, just don't have play store signed in.
Many apps refuse to work.
They banned "VPN"
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/after-vpn-ban-in-k...
Then came arrests.
https://www.medianama.com/2026/01/223-jammu-kashmir-vpn-ban-...
Street level checks. Police literally stop you roadside and check your phone for VPN.
This is happening in 2026. RIGHT NOW.
I talked to some officials and "oh you know what happened in Delhi blasts? They were using signal. If we had only caught them before".
It "just works".
As opposed to play store apps requiring "play store services" meaning having to sign into play store. It refuses to do so on a FOSS principle so I am literally cut off from a lot of apps.
Aurora store helps but apps that "require play store services" don't work.
Just add to it
What's a feature not in KDE connect that the writer wanted and it didn't have?
They could always submit a pr.
Beeper exists you know....
I have a question. It's fine to build for your own self but is it okay to release something in public when the environment is a moving target and you are just a one-man team keeping it afloat?
Wouldn't it be better to go behind established FOSS products and not reinvent the wheel when you don't have to?
I understand no one can tell you how to or why to do certain things but there comes a time, when youw want to help, not build the next temple os and instead help manjaro or whatever is cool these days?
I have a reddit account thats over 12 years old. I have left the posts/comments open. That means, my "post history" becomes a way to advertise my skills. I can reference comments from a year ago or 6 months ago about a certain topic to show how I handled something. That does have an effect on people.
As opposed to a random 1 day old account. No one takes them seriously, I guess the same is here as well
I assume phones are perfectly capable to run such software?

Phones are randomly searched on the streets and if VPN is found, arrested

“Out of the 15 individuals identified, five were minors who were counselled and advised in the presence of their guardians, with emphasis on awareness, lawful digital conduct, and the consequences of violating lawful orders,” he added.
imo these two should not mix and should be mutually exclusive but who am i to say
I use it as my day tool as a lawyer, I use writer and calc alongside office tools and i see formatting issues coming less and less. This is after me using it day for 3-4 years daily.
Every update makes improvements.
Sure its "slow" at features but I'm not interested in "ai" features so it's fine.
It inherits all problems of desktop office, collaboration is hit as two people cannot work on the same file but it is "fine" for average user.
I follow the "meta onlyoffice comparison for writer/calc" and every 6 months or so it there is some improvement.
This is such an important tool to the level of curl but it doesn't have a marketing budget and it's not looking out for investors so "normies" don't know it exists or why it exists but it works.
The old memes of opening a word file and finding garbage is becoming less and less true. Cross compatibility with a moving target that is ms office is a Sisyphean task
There are "problems" but overall it has had a net benefit with poor people who could not afford medical treatment just get it. If you are having an emergency, they just do whatever is needed and you are golden. I know hundreds of people in my neighbourhood who have had surgeries done on "card" and most could not otherwise afford it.
I will give a different context of it.
Many people "do actually" commit tax fraud. It's just real.
Then you have people who don't do "compliance" and government officials see this as potential cash cow.
Then you have third category of "clients". These people just are unlucky. The officer "wants" to get a certain sum of money as bribes so they are indiscriminate in who they target. Any fully compliant client "has to" pay to avoid "further complications" and they quietly pay because they don't want hassles.
This website was built by end users who see "oh why do I have to pay a bribe" when most likely they have committed tax fraud and just want to be quiet about it.
Example.
People calling fake deductions in their income tax returns or giving fake donations and claiming deductions. People often say "oh I didn't know" but it'd actually tax fraud so why not face full music of the law if you do it?
We have cases in India where someone was held to not having been commited a crime 30 years after being first caught taking few bucks.
They lost their life, earnings, social status and in the end a judge says "you are free to go" but there is no compensation. https://www.news18.com/india/declared-innocent-after-30-year...
Or this case

But it doesn't mean corruption isn't caught or people don't care. They do, it's just people get away with a lot of things
The power envelope has to be considered as well.
I am seeing 96Gb Mac studio 3rd gen I think for a good amount but I guess it would be better than paying for mac mini newer models with lesser ram?
Or would it make sense to buy used 32 GB Mac mini 3 or 5?
Is there a cost/dollar for various generations which I could compare against used market and pick the most effective one?
