Americans will come up with anything just to avoid learning experience of socialist countries in public transport design.

   > Put another way: Detail’s secret plan is to create a product that bootstraps its own work, and then use that work to help engineering teams know what investments to make and how well they’re working.
Sorry, guys, I still don't understand what are you selling. Prompts? Design manual for building testable system? In which way agent-friendly dev env differs from human-friendly dev env?

> HN drew me in years ago because it had a higher signal-to-noise ratio. > Now, HN is one of the more pessimistic communities I frequent.

It doesn't mean the signal has disappeared from places like HN. It just means the noise has become much noisier, and now it's much harder to find the signal. And it's true not only for HN, but for all forums/communities I've used over the last ~15 years. Kind of a natural process, I think: more people on the internet, more people in tech -> less quality in discussions on average.

I'm still trying to find interesting discussions and useful information, but taking more conscious approach: not reading every article from frontpage or using some kind of ranking system to select content for me.

I built a small tool for this and use it myself (e.g., I found your comment using it :) ). If you're interested, you can try it: https://knoless.app

zlokki··on My Feed, My Way
Nowadays you can filter out spam from your feed if you can roughly formulate what you want to see there (or DON'T want to see) E.g I filter my RSS feed using a small tool I built for myself. It doesn't support Facebook, but maybe you can find it useful: https://knoless.app

What is the problem to filter your feed without Bluesky?
zlokki··on This Month in Ladybird – August 2026
Looks like we need some kind of reputation mechanism for contributors.
zlokki··on PostgreSQL 19 Interactive Tour
Are there any services I can send an article to that can tell me how much of it was AI-written? I feel like we need some kind of benchmark for articles to measure their "real value."
zlokki··on Switzerland's Federal Government Is Replacing Microsoft on 3k Computers
Just filter out all the stuff you don't want to see. Luckily, xwe have AI now to read all these crap posts for you.

Btw I built a tool exactly for this, feel free to try it: knoless.app

zlokki··on Pre-auth RCE on MikroTik: exploited before the patch, rebuilt in three hours
Any insights?
zlokki··on Ask HN: What is the ideal email domain setup?
Any services I can use this setup conveniently? Do I need my own mail server in this case?
zlokki··on Nitter has more working instances than before the takedowns
Hope RSS feeds continue working. The only way I can get quality content from twitter is to subscribe to people using xcancel RSS. Even so I need to LLM-filter posts after to get rid of nonsense.
zlokki··on GPT-6 Astra in code review: Gains, privacy, and cost
I bet you beating everyone else by tokens spending in your company
zlokki··on Ask HN: Are technical blogs dead?
Yep, basically do the same thing.
zlokki··on Ask HN: Are technical blogs dead?
Haha bro, I came up with the same idea that I need just simple LLM-filter with my own criteria to find something interesting. You can check it there: knoless.vercel.app. Maybe you can give me some advice :)
zlokki··on Making the Internet Boring
The feeds and recommendation algorithms are the real time-eaters for me. The things I tried: - chrome extensions: unhook, stayfocusd, news feed eradicator - deleted youtube watch history and forbid to collect data for recommendations, which effectively disabled yt shorts - grayscale display for my phone - switching from news aggregators and social apps with recommendations to basic RSS feeds

But even I consume information now only from my carefully curated subscriptions I realized I still need to filter out most of the articles. E.g https://news.ycombinator.com/best has ~20 articles per day and this is only one RSS source. So, I just LLM-filter them.

zlokki··on .name Termination
They probably didn't realize why they needed multiple apps to communicate inside the company. I was in a situation where we had slack for communication between teams, email for corporate stuff similar you described, zoom for calls, personal messengers like WA for communicating with people in the company who didn't have slack, SMS/phone calls for alerts and various on-call staff. Total nonsense. No surprise I missed something.
zlokki··on Nobody has built a software factory
True. I quit reading most of my subscriptions way before AI. Ironicall, now when we have AI, I can filter out the slop using my criteria for "gems". Recently vibe-coded some simple UI for this, would appreciate if you can try this: knoless.app
