This breakdown is about $71M, and it doesn't even account for reshoots in 2004 ~april. Which one is the more accurate? Are all publicly reported budgets this different?
Or is there something in this report that is not counted there?
Wondering why oem versions were dumbed down pre-releases
The HW rasterizer is not that efficient if the triangles are tiny, which is the case for nanite.
There is this remote camera app for baby cameras and home survelliance cameras, that all of a sudden started displaying ads in the application that lets you access the camera remotely.
Also these ads are full screen, unskippable 5-10 second ads that occasionally have sound as well.
Upon asking about this, the only reaction from them is a canned response telling about some discount, but there was no ad in the product before, they changed the deal afterwards.
Is this the new trend for companies to extract revenue from already sold products?
How is it legal to add ads into an already sold product afterwards?
I tried to reach someone to at least get a clarification...am I not allowed to have a surge of ~100 real users? but there really was no way to present my issue to anyone. It really is bad, there was nothing I could do. If this wasnt a hobby project I would have been really frustrated instead of being just disillusioned.
Its a remake of an old 90s game that is also offline so there is not much risk in it.
I suspect there are a lot of these stories never shared.
-No performance is wasted in release builds
-Validation checks can be expensive and exhaustive as it will not run in production code
