It's one of only 14 cities in the US to gain 100k residents in the last decade.

Is that your perception of the entirety of the midwest? California isn't just Tesla driving, hoodie wearing, tech types.

> some research has shown that they don't do very well at stopping spread, so why all the fuss to force people to get vaccinated?

Do you have a link/links to where you read that vaccines don't do well at stopping the spread? Everything I've read is that vaccines, while not 100% effective at stopping the vaccinated person from infecting someone else, significantly lower the risk of spreading the virus[0]. That risk drops dramatically when both parties involved are vaccinated.

>the #2 at the FBI

He was the #2 in the FBI Counterintelligence Division, which isn't exactly second in command of the entire bureau.

Also, the article you linked said that the texts "may show potential attempts by the FBI to conduct surveillance of President-elect Trump's transition team". And that is according to one senator from Iowa. That's a big difference from what you're saying actually happened.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the job of the SEC to investigate the insider trading, and then call in the DOJ if they deem it necessary to file criminal charges?
