Are paid options any better? Like the one from Arcgis? Or is google still more accurate?
And just last night NZ time, we had the results of the elections. Current government won by a landslide. And surprisingly a Greens candidate won in Auckland Central. On mobile - but Chloe is just great for Auckland Central!
I jumped into GraphQL form the PHP side. And after understanding what it was the next step was simplly exposing an endpoint. From there, https://webonyx.github.io/graphql-php/ took over.It went like: Route --> Controller/action --> Use `graphql-php`. For the resolvers, I was able to re-use the services the returned data.
The "entry barrier" to the existing legacy-ish framework we were using wasn't too hard. But the learning curve to solve problems in "GraphQL way" is much harder to push as most people are used to REST way of doing things.
Also, does Firefox can I have multiple profiles on Firefox now?
I get to take some sort of power nap for the day. And when I wake up, I feel fresh. Does any one else have a similar routine?
I'm not sure if it's healthy, but I do not feel tired or deprived at all.
I've had MBPs before and it seems they tend to break easier. They are a bit hot and heavy.
A few months ago, I was looking at different open sources to geocode a lot of addresses around the world.
I have tried openstreetmap and some VM from datasciencetoolkit - both have poor results.
Are there other sources aside from Google? Google appears to be the most accurate.
At least that how they would do it in Philippines.
There should be something like this for Django with all the "de facto" tech that a dev might need.
I have wanted to implement something like this one - ie: Lambda doing the downloading of the page itself.
I have wondered how it would work with very strict sites like Yelp - limits similar to what you would get in their API (so doesn't make sense not to use their API).
What are your stats like if you don't mind? How much people are using it and much are getting blocked (404 or 500 after 1000 requests, etc.)?
Edit: Is it possible to use my own credentials for AWS?
Reason I go with Apple laptops is that their warranty goes across borders. Just enter a serial number, and then your done. No more receipts, etc.
Oh i create tickets for myself on bitbucket and work on those at night.
I have been looking into switching back to Windows for months now. The only thing that's keeping me is the trackpad on my macbook. It's just so convenient.
I'm lucky enough that my day job isn't that stressful that I do not get "burned out" when I get home to work on my personal projects.
I love my job and I love working with the people in the company. The culture is very good and not toxic. However, trying something new or building something fun, it is not possible always within the job. It's fixing bugs; figuring out processes, etc. But as long as I am not burned out at work, I still find a few hours every night to do something I really want.
Without my personal projects I would be bored to death.
ie: I don't want to walk around. I want to sit comfortably without straining my arm or walking into walls.
