In my situation I moved to a new city for family reasons with zero connections. I had a stable job working remote but put some feelers out and found a better job in my city by randomly applying.
It's actually weird you find it weird.
"There is no such thing as a healthy suntan. Any change in your natural skin color is a sign of skin damage. Evidence suggests tanning greatly increases your risk of developing skin cancer. The increase in skin pigment called melanin, which causes your skin to tan, is a sign of damage. Once skin is exposed to UV radiation, it increases the production of melanin in an attempt to protect the skin from further damage. The increase in melanin may cause your skin tone to darken over the next 48 hours."
Everyone also expected it to drop at 5k, 10, 15k and it just didn't happen to a large extent. I stupidly bought in at 10k and got lucky to make some money but others stupidly bought in at 20k.
The only thing definitive about Bitcoin is that it will go up..and down. Claiming to know how high, how fast, or how low is BS.
It's like OS X or Windows banning Electron Apps because they're horrible compared to native.
(No one knows)
It looks like you have experience in the industry, it'd be helpful if you laid out a bit more explanation because clearly you have more info.
If they hear your opinion and still go a different way, that's fine - roll with it. It shouldn't require every individual on the team to be convinced, that's a massive waste of time.
> If it's so easy, why didn't the lead just do it himself instead of making a problem out of it?
It's called delegation. If there are 15 easy tasks, a team lead can delegate them out using his or her judgement and have them completed quicker than doing it themselves. If each of those easy tasks has to go through a "convincing phase" it's no longer worth it.
Sure, you need some senior developers mixed in as well but young energetic devs are more bang for the buck.
