wallzz··on Ask HN: I will help your startup in exchange for food and a place to stay
I wonder how much they pay there, I work in France, and almost all the beginners devs, are payed between 30K and 25K annually that's about 2500euro / month minus 25% tax.

>>From my personal experience (I don't have degree), I can say that companies like Booking, Amazon, Facebook, Google etc don't care about your degree.

Seriously, if only I can get a job at one of them.

wallzz··on G is for Google
They just changed the name of the global entity, I wonder why people are surprised by this move, I think nothing will change for the users or in the company, they will just try to create next companies by filling the letters of their alphabet which is a silly move.

wallzz··on Show HN: Netlify – Builds, Deploys and Hosts Your Static Site or App
"Because static sites are safer, faster, cheaper & simpler".

You should really change the slogan! I don't think it reflects what you are offering.

wallzz··on Ask HN: How to start earning $500/month in passive income in next 12-18 months?

wallzz··on With Subway in the Sky, Valley Meets Plateau

wallzz··on Don’t Waste Your 20s at Google or McKinsey
As an old service company employer adviced me, you should not waist more than 3 years at a service company , you never learn anything after that periode , you will just waist your time, better move on and build something useful in small companies.
wallzz··on Don’t Waste Your 20s at Google or McKinsey
I think it really depends on the nature of your work at big firms
wallzz··on Now Accepting Bitcoin on Dell.com

wallzz··on Three biggest Internet companies in each country
works only if he have a retina display!
wallzz··on Three biggest Internet companies in each country
Only 4 countries from Africa are listed , South Africa , Kenya , Algeria and Ethiopia , I don't know how they acquired such data , but I can assume the data is not accurate about the companies listed from Algeria (companies I know). Also some big African market are not listed : Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria. Or is it that the internet companies of these countries are many small companies that compete and do not monopolizing the market?
wallzz··on Offliberty – Evidence of offline life
I found this on their website , but still don't know how it works : Offliberty lets you access any online content without a permanent Internet connection. Today many websites offer nice content but most are difficult to browse offline. If you have limited access to the Internet you can use Offliberty to browse any content later - being offline.

If the Internet bus visits your village only once a week or your grandma doesn't let you use Internet more than 1 hour a day - Offliberty is for you.

Offliberty DOES NOT host and has NO RIGHTS to any content. You must agree with our Terms of Service and other sites usage rules before you take them offline. Sometimes browsing offline content requires permission from its author or owner. Remember to be sure that you have it. We ARE NOT taking any responsibility for Offliberty users activity.

wallzz··on Offliberty – Evidence of offline life

wallzz··on Last day to apply for Startup School Europe
is it really true that Israel is the biggest tech hub in Europe? (if we consider that its part of europe ) ,I always though its Berlin
wallzz··on Last day to apply for Startup School Europe
As a non EU who lives in France, I find it very difficult to go to England due to Visa issues and the high cost of living there when you do the conversion of euro to pounds. so its not a very good choice I think.
wallzz··on Mozilla to Develop Comments Platform for New York Times and Washington Post
Haha , long time in a no english speaking environnement!
wallzz··on Mozilla to Develop Comments Platform for New York Times and Washington Post
Enabling comments in newspapers and website that have world wide reputation and high quality articles will reduce the number of pages visited by a single users, and will affect the final perception of the reader on the article that he read. witch in a long term will affect the future articles wrote by journalist making them targeting "narrow low minded" people that are the general stereotypes who comments on articles by letting their hidden violence go out through subjective violent comments.

please don't do that.

wallzz··on Poll: Where do you host your production environments?
Our Own datacenter
wallzz··on So, leboncoin.fr doesn't like my email alert webapp
Yes there is no official API , basically the tool scrap HTML website content, I don't know if that is legal or illegal according to EU laws. but its like scrapping Google search result, and I remember that it was illegal in the US law.

I think leboncoin.fr has the right to ask him to stop the service. but they also have to offer an API to the developers who seek to tweak the service .

wallzz··on So, leboncoin.fr doesn't like my email alert webapp
In brief , Craiglist french website version known as "leboncoin.fr" sent a letter to the author of "lebonmail.fr" a website that uses leboncoin.fr API to send its users a daily email alerts of items to be sold on "leboncoin.fr". The letter ask the author to stop using the service provided by leboncoin.fr immediately .
wallzz··on Visualisation of the expansion of IKEA
it seems that Africa has a lot to do in order to change the image that the others still has on the continent.
wallzz··on Visualisation of the expansion of IKEA
North Africa is a stable and dynamic market, since these countries are yet investing in infrastructure, from an article dated in 2008 , it was going to open a store in Algiers -Algeria- , but nothing has yet happened. source : http://www.ccmp.fr/collection-ccmp/cas-ikea-en-algerie-une-c...

great initiative, I hope something similar will be organized in Paris
wallzz··on Agony of an African programmer
I think the article is plein of cliché about the africa: electricity, internet price ?!! seriously these things have been improved in most of african countries especially in the north of Africa (Ghana has the fastest internet speed in africa ), and now its much more an advantage than of disadvantage for tech companies.especially for salaries and low fees.

The question that I looked for an answer for in the article is : where is the silicon valleys of Africa?, I know that there have been many attempts to create tech hubs , like the "cyber parks" in Algeria and Tunisia, where you can rent offices with a symbolic price and create your startup where the process is covered by professionals of different fields (juridique, financial, banks ...) , but these cyber parks remains pretty much empty , or just occupied by big international companies selling their stuffs or promoting dead technologies to young students (like Microsoft)

wallzz··on Agony of an African programmer
I'm getting payed more than that for an internship in france!
