https://jobs.lever.co/zenput

Zenput is a mobile enterprise company that helps the likes of Domino's, 7-Eleven, Chipotle, etc manage their people and store operations. We operate across 35 countries and get to work with fun customers solving great problems!

We are a collective team of 25 with an HQ in San Francisco, a growing office in Atlanta and a few remote team members.

Our iOS and Android apps are also fully written with HTML and Javascript to round out our end-to-end JSON based stack.

I'm one of the two founders and CEO. Feel free to reach out to me directly at vladik@zenput.com if you have any questions.

vrikhter··on Ask HN: I'm a Developer, I make good money, Where do I put it?
I've started putting more and more money into lendingclub. The returns have been great and you can scale how much you put in slowly. Would definitely suggest checking it out.

vrikhter··on How This Entrepreneur Raised $28,000 Using Airbnb to Fund Her Startup
The persistence that Suster describes in Tracy is what's most impressive. She simply did not stop. She had a goal in mind and no challenges were going to stop her, she would find a way around them. Love it!

One of the easiest way to figure out if an entrepreneur is going to make it or not is by asking them about their challenges. In my experience people either fall into the category of making excuses about why they haven't overcome their challenges or they tell incredible stories of how they found a clever way to overcome them...note: they themselves don't think its incredible, they just did what was necessary.

vrikhter··on Ask HN: Anyone have experience working with the Google Calendar API?
"if you authenticate with an account that has appropriate permissions (just like you would in the Google Apps interface)"

Do you mean that each user will have to add this app to their Google account? Mind if I send you an email?

vrikhter··on Ask HN: I was contacted by a Google Adwords strategist. Legit? Helpful?
Yes I'm familiar. Do not use their services. They don't know your business, your customers or your market. Most importantly they have no clue about your business model. They will spend a lot of money for you and you'll get minimum value.
vrikhter··on Ask HN: anybody looking for design help?

vrikhter··on Ask HN: Payroll software with API and automated tax filing?
Not that I know of, I researched it a bit a while back. None of the payroll companies I came across have a decent API to access this information.

I've met some folks taking a look at building a better API driven payroll software, but it will be some time before that happens.

vrikhter··on Ask HN: Where is the startup FAQ for programmer/founders
I'm in CA as well. Happy to point you to a few lawyers that can help.

You are partially correct, it's only enforceable in partnerships and when someone is selling their ownership interest in a company. So if another company buys you, then they can enforce the non-compete with them for a few years. but if you leave or are terminated, I'm not sure that they can stop you from being employed for 5 years. Again, IANAL, but I've had a few of these conversations over the past few months.

vrikhter··on Ask HN: Where is the startup FAQ for programmer/founders
Check out http://www.startuplawyer.com, there is some good info there. Also, read through Quora, as there are others who have asked the same question.

IANAL, but I'm fairly sure that a 5 year non-compete is not enforceable in most part of the United States. That seems a bit much if you ask me, so definitely reach out to a lawyer.

What part of the world are you in?

vrikhter··on Ask HN: Startup CEO wants to improve people skills, but how?
If youd like I'd be happy to have a conversation with you about it. People are my specialty. I have a good set of engineering like tricks to keep up with folks and have a good conversation.
