That being said those public WiFi’s shouldn’t be redirecting sites in the first place because for HTTPs sites browsers don’t even let you see the page.
As super interesting this is I'm not sure yet how this could be deployed for people who are concerned about their privacy in the short term.
If you didn't put pictures on to social networks and only sent stuff end to end encrypted your family and friends can see the images / videos.
Why not compile the various studies and make an infographic showing the different ideas out there? It might be much easier to understand.
I really really hope they can fix this because at my work I'm trying to get CLion working. The Codebase is quite large and I have to turn inspections off or else input freezes and won't be responsive for up to 30 seconds. It's at times unusable.
When it works it's amazing but it still has some ways to go.
Private industry as well like Coke is going to put water into cans under the Dasani brand. It's not everything but it's a major step in reducing the waste caused my plastic.
But plastic is in other products as well like toys, electronics, etc... Individuals must be aware of this and need to make better choices or else this problem will just continue.
I am hopeful we can take collective action to clean up the environment and live sustainably.
At the same time group chat does encourage background chatter and it's a bit annoying to put your phone down and see the notification bubble say there is a ton of unread.
Sub-channels really can help because people can create specific channels for a specific events, hangouts, topics etc... and not have to get everyone's attention. Though, invariably there will be someone who will go into the #general chat and send a message to @everyone. But sub-channels hasn't made it into SMS, and WhatsApp.
Maybe the real problem is people aren't mindful of how wide their messages are being sent and how annoying it can be to get a bunch of messages that aren't relevant to you?
PS: My use case would be for CUDA stuff. It being a Mac is nice because I can directly use it as a development machine. So having a Linux desktop at home is the best alternative and SSHing into it.
I'm speaking mostly about their mobile platform... Mac laptops / desktops are another thing... Specifically, I think the lack of a reasonably affordable desktop solution for developers is kind of a bumper. We need upgradability and openness for drivers to make it viable. There are use cases for a less expensive desktop that developers would buy.
Another key and massively important point with clay is that you can slide. Sliding properly where you stop as you hit the ball is a really tough skill to learn. Rafa has absolutely mastered this and it's a beauty to see.
Sliding combined with the ball slowing and bouncing higher lets you get balls much further out. It makes it possible to defend more balls and not be out of court as much.
On other surfaces like hardcourt, and grass it's really hard to slide. If you sprint out to a ball on those surfaces you will hit it on the run and end up a couple of steps beyond where the ball bounced. On clay with sliding you can really minimize these plays and maintain your position on court. Also, you can run so much harder on clay without fearing having to stop really hard which hurts on hard courts and significantly increases injury risk.
Rafa's movement on clay just makes him unbeatable.
Raspberry Pi or a Jetson Nano are probably not gonna work... Seems to be x86 only.
For them winning is exciting because it's random and unexpected. They also, do this when there is nothing else to do so it's their form of leisure. It costs nothing to enter and if you don't value that time anyways, like doing this instead of working, then why not? Which is different from going to a casino or playing the lottery which require you to pay to play.
The other issue I've explained to my family member is that their personal information is being handed out to tons of companies. I avoid handing out information so I don't get targeted for ads etc.. but I guess each to their own.
Wonder if the LitteSnitch list of procs had the Zoom Daemon.
It's quite hard to track though some progress has been made through tracking you online on longer time scales. Most people dislike this type of tracking across channels cause we really don't get much out of it besides being bombarded with ads from the same company.
Others commenting that this could be considered terrorism but if the government is doing it in the interest of defense then it won't be considered illegal.
Even better if there was a combined case which let you have the Raspberry Zero and this unit in one small thing.
> People from my hometown (pop. ~7500 in Midwest), do not realize that they are falling behind at an almost exponential rate. Many are working jobs that require common training, they do not continue their education
Do you think it's caused by the lack of other people who are moving ahead aka role models or are there other factors(quality education etc...)?
I do feel and have seen despite being in the right place some people don't get same opportunities for upward mobility despite being literally next door.
Colaboratory Research is experiencing issues loading and saving notebooks in Google Drive.
Sad :(.
They went over the history and changing economics of CubeSats.
Moving to 48-bit seems possible but like as the other HN discussions says supposedly other real world systems have wrapped around with that too.
We should also note that the 1% rule also applies to traditional media be it news programs, tv shows, documentaries, or movies. They are many barriers entry and gate keepers to filter out content that may not have mass appeal.
Mainstream media's filtering enables them to be profitable and compensate the content creators unlike most of the people on the internet. People are spending their time creating stuff so the someone else can make money? Maybe that's the insane apart?
Saturday it launches from Alameda. It will pass under the Bay Bridge at 1pm and then pass infront of the SF water front. Finally, at 2pm it will pass under the Golden Gate to leave out to sea.
If anyone has a drone it'd be so cool if they could take a video of it sailing out.
