vgaldikas··on YouTube takes down Xinjiang videos, forcing rights group to seek alternative
Yeah but what's the issue of posting your own PII?

I mean I understand that probably you shouldn't, for various reasons. And posting someone else's PII should absolutely be banned. But if I want to post my ID online, what harm can I make to anyone else?

When conflict is between 2 weak countries, conflict disappears.

vgaldikas··on WeChat permanently closes account after user sets offensive password
Well I would imagine they would just automate such thing?

And why would you do fuckery with a journalists password? Seems like especially stupid thing to do

vgaldikas··on WeChat permanently closes account after user sets offensive password

vgaldikas··on WeChat permanently closes account after user sets offensive password
You might be right. Just to test I signed up for it, set it the exact same password, and 45 seconds is long past, but I don't appear to be banned.

vgaldikas··on Self-driving cars turned out to be harder than expected
>One study attempting to estimate the effects of self-driving cars on car use behavior simulated a family having a self-driving car by paying for them to have a chauffeur for a week, and telling them to treat the chauffeur service the way they’d treat having a car that could drive itself.

>The result? They went on a lot more car trips.

That's kind of pointless 'study'. Of course I will take a lot more trips for some time after getting chaffeur/self driving car, just for the novelty of it. One family for one week does not really tell anything

vgaldikas··on Terminating Service for 8Chan
These scums don't deserve water let alone internet access.

vgaldikas··on Many Americans who live paycheck to paycheck blame debt
>For some reason, many people who had $400 on hand still said they’d struggle to come up with the money. “We were scratching our heads,” Chen said.

What exactly made them scratch head? I mean if you have 400 in account, doesn't mean you can just willy nilly spend it on unexpected expense. Maybe this 400 have to last you till the end of month
