velson Malware identified in CCleaner 5.33

What can be done on machines that have a new install of CCleaner - Is there a patch available ?

Also does this effect the Mac OSX version of CCleaner or just the windows version ?

Ive got handbrake saved in my users application folder

So i ran the following in terminal

COMMAND : `cd /Applications shasum -a 1 HandBrake-* && shasum -a 256 HandBrake-`

and got this response which seems to be blank.. any ideas wether this is saying that i have an infected file or if ive just run the initial terminal command wrong ?

RESPONSE : `shasum: HandBrake-: Sams-MacBook-Pro:Applications Sam$ `

Ive seen some enterprise level voip providers in the UK not only provide clients with VOIP systems either on site or a cloud PBX, but also a dedicated leased ADSL line. Usually 2mbps both up / down (They say this is good for about 20 concurrent users). They also connect the the line directly to their voip server, so it dosnt have to make multiple hops.

Never tried one in practice though. We run our voip over our main 200mbps down, 15 up fibre connection. Have QOS and VOIP prioritisation setup on the router, SIP ALG off etc. Seems pretty good, but as you said, if you know what to look for you can always tell your on a voip call.

Just a note for anyone who wants to try this, without spending $2k, you can just purchase the UAP AC PRO access points c. $100-150 each and connect them to your existing switch / router (dosnt have to be Ubiquity kit, have even done basic installs using an ISP provided router.
