valeenaon Dutch governments builds alternative for Microsoft based on NixOS

I took online classes in both Zoom and Teams. I prefer Zoom for that because I can hide most of the UI (and the other people) to focus on the teacher and their shared screen

valeenaon Carney's Bid to Make Canada an 'Associate Member' of the EU

I don't think it has to do with the sovereignist movement but I could be wrong too. It could be related to some relations between Quebec and the EU, especially francophone countrys?

valeenaon Ask HN: Who reads the "newest" feed, and what do you look for there?

I'm not sure. Usually it's when I run out of things to read on the front page and I just check things that seem interesting. Although, now that I've read this thread, I'll make sure to up vote some!

valeenaon Amazon thought it could compete with Steam because it was much larger than Valve

GOG is the only other store where I would buy games. Also let's say that I prefer their platform to Epic
