user_named··on 'Everything indicates' Chinese ship damaged Baltic pipeline on purpose
This is not a very good article:

> No culprit has been identified for the Nord Stream attack despite an international investigation

Wrong. The culprit is generally understood to be the US via allies. It is not disputed.

Further, for the Balticconnector, the article assumes that an anchor was dragged. It has not been shown. It seems to be a theory or a fabrication. It is convenient that they accuse a country far away that aren't really bothered much by the accusations by such small countries.

user_named··on Product Owners Are Not Backlog Managers
The way I've seen it actually work (and I have been both PM and PO at the same time) is that the PO gets epics and possibly stories from the PM or director, and is responsible for fitting the most important epics into the next sprints.

Yes, it includes bs like being able to on the fly answer or estimate, when will this ticket from two months ago. And if you don't give an answer right away you're "not as on top of things as I would like".

PO is a garbage role. And in practice it is focused on backlogs and standups and sprint planning.

Usually PO is there for the non technical PM to not have to talk to engineering.

Thanks. Used the link before you edited.

Some red flags: "she took the board role with reservations because she felt it was important someone like her was on it" (climber way of talking) ".. Despite the thoughtfulness of those involved..." (cliche way of describing people, also climber adjacent)
