What the protestant work ethic is either wrong or intentionally dishonest about, is hard work may inform you of the technicalities of labor, but it rarely gives you the time, enenrgy or education to understand its organizational effeciencies or opportunties.
This is incredibly timely as we have stories and visual evidence of our current oligarchs clearly high on drugs, drunk, or generally indifferent in a leaisure way to the serious science of running our society and business, yet seem to continually get the upper hand in doing it.
Ask yourself ... why?
If you doubt me they have openly stated this multiple times in their think tanks.
Oracle just made a step towards existing less, reverberating a negative wave through the entire system.
This is a result of the technology being expensive and centralized vs cheap and decentralized. The marketing claiming it’s aggressive and takes from humans vs uplifting and enriching. And on and on
It makes it really clear what the right thing to do is, make the technology widely available, cheap and let humanity do its thing.
Did Anthropic put work in? Yes. Did they derive their value from Humanity being open with knowledge then try to sell it back? Also yes.
Did they even steal the tech? Also yes.
It’s like if you gave your grouchy shut in uncle a megaphone to scream at everyone from his veranda every day nonstop
Look up universe 25 and mouse utopia experiments. Exactly predicted this.
Honestly. Put up or shut up.
You’re regurgitation of propaganda here is so laughably missing the point.
Downvote me if you want but look it up. The temperance movement and prohibition that followed was run by wealthy women who filled their time judging the lower classes and factory owners who wanted to end labor union meetings and continue to underpay workers in horrid conditions while blaming alcohol as the problem.
Easily one of americas worst decisions and propaganda people like you still believe to this day.
I somehow doubt when correct in absolute numbers lap infants are saving any lives.
Run the model in AI on real cohorts and absolute numbers it’s a wash at best and an urban legend at worse. 5 lives saved over a decade. Toothpicks on a plane likely killed more people than that.
To be clear but the NTSB and the American society of pediatrics have both said the FAAs math here is totally bunk.
Vast majority of accidents happen on regular driven known routes not road trips.
I would expect far better from the FAA.
My guy a car seat will do nothing in a crash.
