its a "let uns look at your contacts so we will find other friends of yours on facebook"-feature. and a lot of people (sadly) dont care about this.

something like http://anyfu.com/ ?

is this really something thats regarded a lifehack? my grandmother brews coffee this way since ... i dont know .. since she brews coffee.

there are even machines that mimic this: vhttp://www.amazon.de/Philips-60-Gourmet-schwarz-silber/dp/B0...

there is one (unofficial) @ http://api.ihackernews.com/ which is used by ihackernews ... my mobile frontend of choice as long as there's no official one.

somehow reminds me of

https://github.com/scy/levitation

but that doesnt seem to have gone anywhere...

but thats shrinking. more often you'll see the 13th split up 50% for june and 50% for december.

why should it blow my mind? its an accomplishment .. sure. but there are and have been far more complex systems written in assembler and/or much mor complex/confusing (from todays perspective of a run-of-the-mill ror/ios/webtech-du-jour programmer) technologies because thats all there was or thats what had to be used to accomplish the task at hand.

certain product-websites tend to converge ... not because noone is creative but they work. there's absolutely no sense for them to create a totally different page that may not work as good just because they want to be different.

im not sure but that should just be:

10 PRINT "Hello World"

and you know that because:

a) you store cleartext passwords b) you use a static salt and have memorized the hash of the password+your salt ... or c) ???

they are not the first to do this. berlin had the first blinkenlights installation in 2001! and it was controllable via sms/phone.

Is this really a problem? I mean ... there are tons of gaming-server providers out there offering minecraft hosting (with unlimtied playtime ofcourse). the only new thing i see is the forced bill split. am i missing something?

why dont all these pre-order things sell coupon codes for the actual product? "Buy a Product X Code NOW for 19,99* *product may not ship til dd/mm/yy". wouldnt that solve the problem?

i meant osm. sorry for the misunderstanding.

its missing detail? at least in my city its much more detailed than gmaps

they will come back eventually. the last expansion came out in late 2010 and the next is due this fall(not exactly sure). thats the way wow works. people get fed up afeter some time without enw content and then rush back when theres something new.

dos it merge new and ask?

oh yes! i just want to set a list of departure locations, a range of days (3-6) and a maximum cost. i dont care if i use the train a plane, a ferry or even a bus just get me somewhere interesting! :)

here in germany you just put a little "Keine Werbung" (no advertisements) sticker on your mailbox and thats it. the bundesgerichtshof has a judgement dating back to 1988[1] stating that violation of this consitutes a violation of your basic rights. if a company disobeyes this you can basically send them a cease&desist and if they dont stop you can claim damages. (but beware IANAL ;))

any specific recommendations?

no its "Die Partei".

considering windows server and mssql server are also in that division i highly doubt that!

for etsy there is dawanda.de which is basically the same thing

looks nice but no middle-click or no open in new tab kills it for me.

also the results show events that were only temporary and are already over .i only checked Hamburg, Germany and the first 2 results are temporary events that are over.

did you have a look at: http://opencv.itseez.com/doc/tutorials/tutorials.html

really? money would be a concern for you when you were going to space?

with this kind of device you just need smart plugs so that your dishwasher/dryer/washinmachine run at night.

he actually elaborated on that and said that after fees and taxes it would be $96000 and that it would last him for about 800 days to design every charackter.

wouldnt it make sense to include the costs for the physical workspace into the employee costs as a employee not only needs a salary and benefits but also a place to sit, a computer to work on and maybe some coffe to drink?

Quake Live [1] is actually pretty good and idtech3 based! its not cod big but big enough for a lot of competition on almost all skillevels.

but as you said it's sad that theres no true "hardcore" fps on the horizon :-/
