AI does the same thing an agency or dev would do. Those vibe coding platforms have a template for these things which is usually Vite + React with Supabase for the backend, the same as a dev might use because surprise the LLM trained on the dev's work.
OP's point is that you're not guaranteed a good outcome hiring an agency or solo dev either, in fact I would say you're almost guaranteed a bad outcome either way.
Hetzner / Contabo maybe. Cloudflare workers definitely.
This guy is not at my level and multiple $10k MRR is possible but unlikely.
And so the fact that I don't do that must mean that I'm one of the weirdos. And sure, it doesn't really matter other than it's a reason to avoid events.
But knowing that I'm being classified by event organizers (and that there's a 10% chance I will be labeled "complete weirdo")? That will keep me from participating in events.
Which is too bad because I already have enough reasons not to participate in events without adding neuroses on top of them.
Anyway I only need to order from him like once per year because he sends me about 1l of this carolina reaper sauce that is so potent it only takes a few drops.
Thanks for unlocking a new anxiety for me.
This is a single afternoon vibe-coded project by all indications.
They're not just joking around when they say things like "Death to America" or "Death to Israel". They're not being hyperbolic when they say "We love death more that you love life".
They will absolutely use that bomb as soon as they have it, and it will trigger a response from the west when it happens.
Why does Hamas hold hostages in tunnels under their own civilian populations? Not because they think Israel will hesitate to bomb there, they know they won't.
It's because the death of their own population is a goal in itself.
This is a good example of being confidently misinformed.
The best move is always a result of calculation. And the calculation can always go deeper or run on a stronger engine.
I don't really play Go but I play chess, and it seems to me that most of what humans consider creativity in GM level play comes not in prep (studying opening lines/training) but in novel lines in real games (at inference time?). But that creativity absolutely comes from recalling patterns, which is exactly what OP criticizes as not creative(?!)
I guess I'm just having trouble finding a way to move the goalpost away from artificial creativity that doesn't also move it away from human creativity?
And by the way, I don't think it's surprising that so many people are being unreasonable on this issue, there is a lot at stake and it's implications are transformative.
Ok so it sounds like you want to give the rules of Go credit for that move, lol.
Right but it has to reason about what that next word should be. It has to model the problem and then consider ways to approach it.
