I often think about people's love for dogs.

All a dog needs to do is look at you and show attachment/love. Nothing more. And they get loved back.

No need to be pretty smart, funny, or whatever else we assume we need to do to be loved. Just be there and show love first.

I think that's common in Switzerland. They call it 80% contracts.

In Singapore, tap your Visa/Mastercard to get in, tap it to get out, they do the Math and charge you. So simple and effective!

No it's all coming from anti tech / anti bank / pro privacy political point of views. It's not that can't, it's that make it a personal point not to.

Where did you move? Just curious.

Point coordinates, not the point itself.

So indelicately put.. Comes across (to my Euro mind) as an order doubled with an insult.

How are the investors hoping to make their money back?

Yeah, it's not directly the point of the article but I thought if we can't automate truck driving, programmers are safe for a while.

Monetization is not a crime

I believe this article completely ignores the product side of the story. Elon doesn't pitch, he builds. His products are significantly better than market alternatives, with a steady momentum of improvement over time. In the unofficial biography there's the story of how Tesla pulled an unlikely funding from Daimler. The Daimler executives visiting Tesla were unimpressed, skeptical and bored to death by the PowerPoints. Then the Tesla team took them for a ride in the electrified Smart they had built in a hurry. All the executives stepped out of it with a smile. The check arrived later. It was about the product, not the "save the earth" narrative.

SOHO: Small Office / Home Office (I had to look it up)

Great content but please improve the contrast of your website <3

Did you mean, at iso-circumjacentium? :p

do you mean within?

> "don't hire the hot girl" guy Is that a reference? Can you point me to it?

When?

Reminds me of this quote: "Great Minds Discuss Ideas. Average Minds Discuss Events. Small Minds Discuss People."

Can you explain N=O(10)? is N their ability and O(10) the big O notation (flat and low)?

So true! Super Mario games are basically a giant learning curve of controlling your character, where steps are well defined and cut into levels.

Can you elaborate? I don’t see it..

In the consulting industry I’ve seen PDF being used precisely because third parties couldn’t mess with the content anymore.

Google didn't help with translating this one, can you shed Teutonic light on this word?

Interesting, thanks. Amazon is known for having built an API for all departments to share information right?

Do "high innovation velocity" companies like Tesla or SpaceX use any ERP? If so, do they develop in house? Use a modern equivalent to SAP?

Are you using price negotiation as an example or are you reducing negotiation to price? Because these writers will say negotiation is everywhere (in relationships, dating, friendships, corporate politics, getting good customer service, any sort of search for a favorable compromise in any sort of way).

But why?

Can you elaborate? Do you know why the repatriation was decided? Can you explain why Netburst and (I’m guessing this is a pun on) Itanium were failures? Do you know what Israeli teams did better?
