The backend was made with Laravel, the frontend uses Laravel Blade views with VueJS where needed and TailwindCSS for styling.
Any feedback is appreciated, and happy to answer any questions!
- fake reviews which make the ratings useless
- scam apps that riddle the various app stores
- abusive / illegal content on platforms that can't afford better moderation
- moderators who struggle with mental health issues, as per this tweet
- footballers receiving racist comments on their socials
Is there space for a startup to solve this problem with AI? And should it be a B2B or B2C scenario, as in working with platforms to moderate in the backend or being a user app / extension that does it in the frontend?
For example, Fakespot works great with Amazon but it's an extension you have to install, so it's not available on Safari / on Mobile. So it's still quite unknown and I'm not sure how much it can grow
I'm not sure what "mark people as in touch" is, and to me it sounds the same as adding someone from your contact, but it looks like this is a different operation from adding a contact to the list.
I like the "more" tab and its contents.
Out of curiosity, as I'm interest and work in UX, did you test this app with some real people / how did you test its UX?
Is your daily rate very high, are you delegating work to other people, or what is it?
As a developer, Tailwind UI is a god send, I've been waiting for years for a great looking CSS framework with pre-made components
(Also, they had a pretty big audience already after selling Refactoring UI which is a really useful book for developers that can't design, like me)

Here I just send an URL to the GIF to my friend via whatsapp. They click on the link. They look at the GIF. That's it.
From a user's perspective to see a GIF I just have to click a link. And to send one I just send a link. How easier can it get?

I swear HN's community has the brightest minds yet so often it fails to understand simple user experience stuff (see the infamous Dropbox comment)
- this is basically an ignorance tax
- sometimes I wish I had no conscience, I would be much richer

On this note, the worst offender in my opinion is Voyager for Laravel [1], where the "play" button has been put over a screenshot of the product, but when you click on it there's a 90 second video of a guy talking about the product. So. frustrating.
So true. I've used Evernote for years and recently started using Notion. Notion works much better for organizing and structuring stuff, but when it comes down to jotting down a quick note, I istinctively open Evernote. Just recently I've realized it's because of the speed, both on desktop and (even worse) on mobile, Notion just takes too long to start up.
Just now while writing this comment I tried to open both of them on my Windows laptop: Evernote took ~1s, Notion ~5s between launching and loading the content.
It's a bit like social networks for exercise (Strava etc) - the whole thing is just people looking to show off because they've exercised, but if that's what's keeping them in shape, then great!
