toasted-subs··on Nvidia takes $1B stake in Nokia
When an organization reaches a certain level of wealth they become what amounts to as lawyers. Placing money in areas that demonstrate their understanding of the situation even if it may result in potential losses strengthens their brand and reputation.
toasted-subs··on Willow quantum chip demonstrates verifiable quantum advantage on hardware
There in lies the problem. Hey can I have a few billion dollars for my baby doesn't really work out too well for investors or industry.

The current situation with "AI" took off because people learned their lessons from the last round of funding cuts "AI winter".

That being said any pushback against funding quantum research would be like chopped your own hands off.

toasted-subs··on Willow quantum chip demonstrates verifiable quantum advantage on hardware
A consistent theme of Quantum Computing is setting up the problem to have the hardwired achieve nicely to get a good news article to get more funding.

Im pretty reluctant to make any negative comments about these kinds of posts be cause it will prevent actually achieving the desired outcome.

toasted-subs··on I almost got hacked by a 'job interview'

toasted-subs··on Social media promised connection, but it has delivered exhaustion
Social media brought nothing but a bunch of jerks who bully and enslave people. Gonna die alone because of what those people have done. I hope when the people look back at this they try every single one of those people as murderers.
toasted-subs··on Samsung taking market share from Apple in U.S. as foldable phones gain momentum
I dont mind iphones but with how they lock down their devices and do things like prevent you from removing keyword suggestions so when your keyboard starts harassing you, you are out of luck.and the edges are so sharp and uncomfortable to hold.

Its like wearing a thong or being locked in chastity. As a male I dont understand why people people wear those things.

toasted-subs··on AI surveillance should be banned while there is still time
Yeah I've basically refused to ever have kid's because I cant imagine them growing up knowingly becoming slaves. As a parent I'd basically expected CPS to be called on me for having kid's in this environment.

toasted-subs··on ADHD drug treatment and risk of negative events and outcomes
No of course not. Doctors consider patients to be crops why would they give their crops any chance of being happy or running away?
toasted-subs··on ADHD drug treatment and risk of negative events and outcomes
The funny thing about this is sex actually does a good job at treating ADHD symptoms. Sad to see most doctors prescribing medication instead of helping kids get laid.

Almost argue most adults are doing the opposite which makes me concerned for the population.

If google offer the ability to fuck up other people's lives should they be financially liable for the costs associated to return the individual to the state prior of the abuse?
toasted-subs··on DHS removes all members of cyber security advisory boards, halts investigations
Probably because of Jewish people like me who had their computers hacked and told I wasn't welcome by security cameras near where I live.

I live next to former president's and being efficetively made into a holocaust victim with no proper recourse by the people ment to protect the president's makes me feel like they never should have had the job in the first place.

toasted-subs··on Insurers rely on doctors whose judgments have been criticized by courts
The entire medical system when it comes to the court system is unbelievable. I live in one of the largest medical centered cities in America.

Yet I had multiple doctors tell me and did things to me other doctors told me should be considered medical malpractice.

When I went to try to sue I found there's literally one judge who could deal with it but they refuse to even try to deal with my case in the court system.

Then the doctors try to shame me for dealing with my issues without taking the meds which the Doctors themselves told me would make my situation worse.

Instead I get a ride through Charlie's Chocolate factory showing me how America works.

Maybe don’t bully anyone unrelated to your organization until active shooters become a regular occurrence at their own office building.
toasted-subs··on D3 in Depth
Can you add the library as a html link.

Anything else would be unwise to invest time in learning.

toasted-subs··on D3 in Depth

It's difficult to use off the shelf tools when starting with math models.

toasted-subs··on Facebook just updated its relationship status with Web Components
It shouldn't there's a lot of ways to use web components anyone with years of experience with objective programming should feel extremely at home. Where as react requires a lot of unnecessary overhead associated with security risks.
toasted-subs··on Facebook just updated its relationship status with Web Components
Oh please. If we are going to complain about anything free and built into the standard it would be server side events which barely work at best.

Personally I wouldn't mind server rendered features like what react does but in the setting of not javascript.

Sometimes I wonder if I ever get to be happy. From social experiences it feels like I only pretend to be alive because of social obligations.

I imagine work to be similar.
