Might want to consider a name change. https://www.ponylang.io/
tkdc926··on Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’s lost album, Human Highway
The Political Beats podcast has an excellent 3 part retrospective of Neil Young's career. Part 3 alone is over 4 hours long. Definitely worth a listen if you are a fan. And despite the name there are no politics. https://www.nationalreview.com/podcasts/political-beats/
tkdc926··on Why Clojure? (2018)
> In Clojure, whenever you "append" to a vector (array) you get a "new" vector and the original does not change. Anyone with a reference to the original can always count on it being the same.

This has never made any sense to me. Can someone please explain why you would still want the original vector to continue to exist with data that no longer reflects the current system? What am I missing?

tkdc926··on What's the best static site builder these days?

tkdc926··on Two illusions that tricked Arthur Conan Doyle
The article states "In a later TV interview, Conan Doyle tried to explain his views..." Doyle died in 1930. Pretty sure he never did a TV interview.

tkdc926··on The Joy of ClojureScript

tkdc926··on Amazon’s HQ2 Spectacle Should Be Illegal
Ok, assume city A offers Amazon one million dollars in tax breaks. If Amazon moves to city A, city A will not receive one million tax dollars from Amazon. If instead Amazon turns down city A and moves to city B, then city A will STILL not receive one million tax dollars from Amazon. City A will NEVER receive one million tax dollars from Amazon, no matter what Amazon decides to do. What am I missing?

tkdc926··on The New Firefox and Ridiculous Numbers of Tabs
Here's the way I do it... I setup a Gmail account that I only use to "save" links. Anytime I encounter an article that looks interesting and want to save, I just tap the browser menu, tap "Share" and share it to that email account. Works great and no more hassles with bookmarks and open tabs.
tkdc926··on Blue Bottle Coffee Introduces a Coffee Recommender
