Do you have a link to this? All the search results I'm getting are related to libpng.

mpv is okay but its complete reliance on command line flags and manually written config files makes it a bore.
What's also interesting is the focus shifting from House and Trance in the 1990s to Rap and Hip-Hop in the 2000s. I'm guessing if the magazine was still in publication during the very late 2000s we would have seen a reverse of this trend.

Similarly to dxvk, you drop a few DLLs into the game directory then edit one config file. No need to use a dedicated program.
It seems to have more features and limited support for multithreading, with more recent updates compared to the original project. Sadly it was archived in late 2023.
