Why does everyone want to pay for HBO Go so much? Has anyone actually used it? I have, and it's absolutely horrible on both Mac and PC in any browser. It skips often, horrible picture quality, weird colors, not to mention a bad interface for finding and watching.

I just recently got the iPhone HBO Go app and it's awesome, never skips, crystal clear quality, easy to use. Why the enormous difference? Am I the only person experiencing this?

This is a little bit different because it's only giving users with pre-existing accounts an option to change their username to their real name. Anybody who registers a new account is forced to use their real name (or a fake real name).

I really truly wish that there was an option for "No, I don't want to give you my cell phone number, and I NEVER want to give it to you."

Also, I used to love making throw-away Gmail accounts for various spam purposes. Now, my cell phone # is associated with 3 accounts so I can't make anymore.

I registered a new account on Youtube a couple days ago and was not even given the option to choose a username. They asked me for my first and last name and that was it.

I see Linux enthusiasts talking about how their parents are happy with their Linux distro all the time -- that's not an argument for desktop Linux though. Nobody's saying Linux isn't good at browsing the web and checking mail and writing the occasional document.

I found that army site too, though I didn't find anything interesting there. I found a Sony site. Some .edu's. Most everything I found seemed to have the exact same source code.
