This is completely understandable and eases my mind, thanks.
It's a 100% possibility that I have this wrong but I see two groups who this helps. The first group is foreigners who live in the US and the second group is big businesses who can most likely hire lower wage workers.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for improving the STEM sectors in the US but I just feel like it might be a little more useful to invest in our own schools and our own workers instead of invest in foreigners living in the US. Can someone explain what I am missing or what I don't understand?
That's a pretty intense bastardization of biblical theology. It's fun to snicker and say things like that but your logical gymnastics are quite embarrassing to those who understand the correlation between Christ, the Old Testament, and covenant theology.
Edit: Now that I think about it, my dad is the same way. I've watched him multiple times drink a cup or two before bed and have no problems sleeping. On the other hand, my mom can drink a 12oz cup and get a nice boost of energy.
That's good to read but, technically, it's not their choice, correct?
Someone1234 seems pretty down on Boot Camp but I have had great results from running Windows 8.1 on a 27" iMac. I honestly can't think of one problem I have had. Of course, it could be much different on a Macbook Pro.
Also, you might check out some subreddits like r/marketing.
I'm wondering if any journalist has thought about the idea of a subscription model. For example, charging something like $5 a month to read all articles on their site or releasing long-form articles that cost $1 each.
They are pretty expensive so you might check on Craigslist for a used version, that's what I did.
Also, you might try a standing desk. I've heard/read great things and will be getting one pretty soon.
My product helps them by basically doing everything for them. They don't have to worry about registering a domain name, setting up the hosting account, setting up the website, modifying it to look good, installing updates, running backups etc. etc.
You make a good point about offering "unlimited" resources. This early in the game, I have nothing to lose and it would be a selling point.
As far as customization goes, that basically falls under setting the website up. So, essentially yeah I mean a logo will be uploaded, colors will match their branding, the homepage will have user selected elements etc. etc.
I toyed around with a free trial but found it wasn't a good idea because no one knew how to use the WordPress backend.
>I think you also need to make sure you're emphasizing how the site can help boost their attendance and donations and lower their administrative costs
This is definitely true and something I need to work on. One of my biggest obstacles is writing content that will clearly explain the advantages of utilizing a website instead of just having a "brochure site" thrown up on some random host.
Haha um yes.
Thanks for the thoughts. Your suggestion about partnering up with some companies that already have a foot in the door is a great idea. I'll definitely be thinking that through.
I've been wanting to set up my own email server and wouldn't mind offering the service to clients for free (obviously that would be after I get very used to administrating an email server). Would that be a horrible idea? Are there any specific laws or regulations in the US I would need to know about before providing email to clients?

Around the time Windows 8 came out I built a new pc and started using Win8 as my main OS. Now, my workflow basically consists of git, sublime, Photoshop/Illustrator, and gulp. I do use putty/rdp for server admin related tasks and filezilla for any ftp needs. I am pretty obsessive about having a clean OS, knowing exactly where my files are, and having as much customization as I need/want and I feel like Windows does that better for me than OS X. I also just prefer the design of Win8 to OS X.
Here is the kicker, most of things I prefer about Windows can be accomplished on OS X, it's just a personal preference. In general, I don't think Windows 8 is necessarily better than OS X for everyone but for me it is better. Find the OS you like, find the tools that you are most productive with, and build great products :)
