My current project is to browse GitHub for interesting code and rewrite it in Elixir with an orthogonal instruction-set architecture in mind.

I guess I became an NPC now.

I'm in love with this message board. OP, is there any way I can participate in the project? no need for payment. I just really really love it.

And it became my landing page. Thank you so damned much.

Lately I’ve been telling my friends I’m done. I’ve entered my George Carlin phase. Words don’t seem to mean anything anymore. YouTube titles? Clickbait. News headlines? Clickbait. People say this and that, and in the end it’s nothing like what they promised. And then this... love the idea!

I miss Minsky. Loved his books!

dogdamned! I love the simplicity of the color palette!

Wait. I’m kinda pissed at YouTube’s bloody thumbnails and titles, Jesus, no one respects language anymore. It’s all fake.

AHHAHAHAAH!!! made my day!

Oddly, I’m doing okay in an Alan Watts sort of way. Global, local, everything feels like a dance. I should be panicked, but somehow I’m not.

P.S. My company (Yolo Group) just started layoffs. Is it weird that I’m calm?

would be possible to get my 90's computers and run erlang/elixir for a crypto node... or some version of it??

We gotta go back to the 90's... this is awesome!

like mcdow said: stop listening. everyone has an agent specially those in power.

- focus on yourself - believe, whether you want it or not, is a powerful tool... therefore so it's denial. - believe in things you find useful for you - focus on the present, not the history, not the mystery

in case is not: elixirforum and elixir slack.

I dropped out from my PhD in theoretical physics because basically what Sabine just did. Brave.

hope this time i get it better. i have read a few books. i've tried to put them in practice. i failed as classic loser. i read two books about haskell, i failed again. i dunno why i'm still alive, worse... why i don't give up already!?

COBOL

wait a minute... i see what you did here...

Bedazzled and Cloud Atlas, more than hmmmmm 50 times?

11 years ago i left my PhD in theoretical physics. I started so happy in 2008 and left in discontent 'cuz the corruption and culture of the institution. I started it for the love of knowledge so it was easy to leave evethough i wws about to finish. I left as a protest, i hope it had caused some ripple effects (i lost any form of contact since i left). Maybe that's the reality oh things but i wanted to do research just for the love of curiosity and knowledge but gosh why do we humans corrupt eveything? anywho... this feels right at home.
