tenzo··on Ask HN: How do people keep track of organizational knowledge?
we've faced this same problem but thinking about it a little deeper reminded me that this issue is no different to pre-llm world. someone creates a spec, someone or a team build/implement the spec and after actioning any feedback from testing or from customers, the product evolves and is no longer aligned with the initial spec.

i think one way to solve this is having an someone or an agent update the initial spec with any new changes as and when they are made.

love this. reminds me of glitching out the map in a ps1 game
tenzo··on How London became the rest of the world’s startup capital
> What is also interesting is that London's productivity growth is falling compared to Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool. So those cities that aren't getting the fancy new train lines are actually performing better.

What data is this based on?

tenzo··on Ask HN: Is it still worth pursuing a software startup?
Product is very rarely the moat. It also depends on what you're building. A software startup can not win solely by just having a great product (of course there are exceptions). Finding a niche community, being able to distribute your product to them, how you price it, frequency of updates etc... all things that were just as important in building a moat pre agentic coding

" then open up the links having a high number of comments or sometimes, the ones whose titles intrigue me. Roughly, this would lead to opening about 5-6 web links per HN visit. For 3-4 of those, I’d return to their respective HN posts to read the comments. I usually browse up to the 2nd, and sometimes 3rd page of HN per visit"

I have used hn like this for last 10years - is this a thing that I'm not aware of?

tenzo··on What is your process/stack for "saving for later"
Thanks - will give this a try - looks great and love the name. Not having a browser extension is a dealbreaker as I mostly browse on web vs phone.

I will download anyway and feedback with thoughts.

tenzo··on Ask HN: How do you make money on the side?
amazon fba works well as a side hustle. There was a lot of upfront work but then became mostly automated/ passive. I ran one for a couple years whilst working as a PM and eventually sold it.

tenzo··on Ask HN: What's a side project you built to make money that hasn't?
This is a nice idea

Have you tried posting somewhere like https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/ - you might have some luck in finding users there given the audience

tenzo··on Ask HN: What to build using a bank account API?
Personal banking - PFM chatbot - Budgeting tool - Virtual saving accounts

I personally see a lot more applications for business bank accounts. If you don't mind, is there anywhere I can DM you?

I just signed up to 'solve this problem' as it's something I'm currently working on.

Is there a particular reason why you're looking for an InDinero replacement?

tenzo··on I spent two weeks delivering for Uber Eats and made $4.40 per hour
This made me think about the time I saw a deliveroo rider being carried away in a stretcher after an accident. It upset me to think that I'm pretty sure theres a customer waiting for their food and most likely cursing the rider/ sending angry emails
tenzo··on Ask HN: What can I bring to a Blockchain startup if I'm not a developer?
Start by diving deeper into how blockchain technology works. Having a better understanding, will allow you to conceptualise how it can be used in an industry where you have strong domain expertise

Developers may be able to build the technology, but if they don't have a strong understanding of its application for 'industry X' then I'm sure you can somehow fill that gap.

E.g. Auditing is a common example used of an industry that can be completely changed through the use of blockchain. But I'm pretty sure these developers would need to work with people who have experience with auditing and what it entails - just as auditors would need to understand how blockchain works
