It seems to be using the native color picker. More info here: http://www.cssjockey.com/tips-tricks/native-color-picker-sup...
superchink··on Ask HN: Does anybody need 16 years old designer? Hire me

superchink··on Tesla Unveils New Finance Product
Looks like it's 43%, according to their document here: http://www.teslamotors.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/tesla-re...
superchink··on Google Reader to shut down July 1st
Of course! Which explains why I missed the other HN thread with all the comments on the front page, and posted here instead.
superchink··on Free Plivo Developer Accounts for Life
What if I've previously signed up for an account? Is there a way to ‘convert’ my account to a developer account and leverage this new offering?
superchink··on Google Reader to shut down July 1st
This is the worst news I've read all day.
superchink··on Exec (YC W12) launches cleaning service in 4 new markets around the U.S.
In Los Angeles, their rate is right about 200% of what I pay today to clean a 2 bed/2 bath. I'd really want to try this, but it's tough to justify THAT much of an increase.

Edit: Maybe that's why there is a 200% guarantee? Oh, and I notice there are two people, not one, but ultimately if the end product is the same…?

superchink··on CodeMirror's creator's Tern.js reaches its funding goal
The period is the equivalent of the comma that you're expecting. 11.181 Euros is equivalent to 11,181 Euros (depending on where you live).

You can find more detail here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_mark

superchink··on Ask HN: How do you manage shared company passwords?
Do you have plans to allow others to use this?
superchink··on Show HN: LiveNinja - a video chat marketplace to buy and sell expertise
Is there a particular reason you're not allowing the browser to use its native scrolling behavior/scroll bars? It just "feels wrong" on my mac.
superchink··on Our Django Book is Launched
I definitely look forward to reading this over the weekend. Just purchased. I've already learned quite a bit from pydanny's blog over the years, so hopefully the book follows suit.
superchink··on Starting The Web App Challenge: From Zero to $5,000/month In 6 Months
This looks great! Random question: have you considered doing any integrations with EHR/HIE/patient portal vendors, or with IDNs/payers?
superchink··on Thinking of starting a Health IT company? Here are top three industry challenges
I'd say it's pretty big. I'm somewhat familiar with a national project for exchange of clinical data and it's in the hundred million dollar range.
superchink··on Show HN: A souped-up HTML-based table
Sorry, but what does this have to do with Galaxy Note II sales?
superchink··on SpaceX founder Elon Musk wants to start a Mars colony

    "How could he show a profit?"
    'By creating a category in his
    book-keeping called 'Satisfaction,'…

superchink··on Engineers suck at finding the right jobs
I somehow missed the header saying you work at LivingSocial…

Out of curiosity: are there any developers in the Santa Monica office, or is it just sales? I'm in the same building.

superchink··on Show HN: a tiny Instagram projector
Side note: is anyone else having issues playing HTML5 videos in Chrome (Version 25.0.1323.1 dev)
superchink··on [dead]
Reposted because the other link died. I'm not sure if this is proper etiquette, but I couldn't edit the URL on the original… if an editor can just swap the URL, we don't really need another post.
superchink··on Don't say "Emacs" or "Vi"
Looks good from here.
superchink··on Problems with Skitch 2.0
Did you happen to try copying the application to another location before updating, and over-writing the new version of an app updated via the App Store?

I'm not trying to be difficult; it's an honest question.

superchink··on Divshot
I'm in a similar boat; never received an invite, but looking forward to trying it out… any chance at getting into the beta? You have my word this will be the last such request.
superchink··on Analysis of bank PIN numbers
I don't have sufficient knowledge to say that you're wrong about this, but I DO know that the largest banks ALL allow you to change your PIN. Examples:

  * Bank of America
  * Chase
  * Citibank
  * Wells Fargo
superchink··on Google Chrome is detecting malware on The Verge
Thank you! Also, just in case: I didn't mean to be a dick about it, so I'm sorry if it came across that way…
superchink··on Google Chrome is detecting malware on The Verge
I generally agree with you. However, in this case there were already several comments on this submission, but none on the other (original) submission. In this case, as I stated, there was no value being added by linking.

And with that said, I think I'm done with this meta-discussion. Thanks for playing…

superchink··on Google Chrome is detecting malware on The Verge
Why would you link me to that? There is no discussion there that is of any value above what's in this thread (there are no comments). Please don't do that; I realize it was only a couple seconds of my life wasted (plus the 30 seconds to write this comment), but I would really appreciate it if this didn't become a trend.
superchink··on Fresco - A Beautiful Responsive Lightbox
There is keyboard support:

superchink··on Show HN: Helvetitee: Custom tee. No bullshit. (Our four-day startup)
It looks like they've already dropped the price from $45 to $25. Huge difference…
superchink··on Simple -- Announcing Goals
I found that they were extremely responsive on Twitter and even told me when to expect the invite. Might want to reach out to them there.
superchink··on Bootstrap 2.1 released
I believe they were referring to porting bootstrap to Stylus (rather than SASS)…
superchink··on Hackers Steal, Encrypt Health Records and Hold Data for Ransom
This article is light on detail, and heavy on FUD. It seems to me that the author is (just doing his job) making a story out of something relatively small and insignificant, while promoting fear of electronic medical records and health information exchange.

Do we need to be careful about security? Yes, but we need to get over this fear of efficiency in healthcare.
