What if she put it in a locked box before shipping it to herself UPS, and she has the only key?
What if instead of UPS, she hired a moving company to move the locked box?
What if she wrote it electronically in diary.txt, but it was backed up to a cloud provider?

I'm guessing there's some sort of "reasonable expectation of privacy" for certain activities. We're going to find out what Florida courts think about this new medium.
Considering what is going on in Europe right now, maybe this is not a good point to try to make.
...and if they forget that, they can just edit the source code in command.com!
Not if you're a felon or have mental health issues.
Any definition of "regular folk" that excludes more than half the population is nonsense.
> That is just hope-believe, i.e. it ain't happening.
Best estimates are that 80% of the pre-war levels of oil are flowing through Hormuz right now. It's happening.
What are you hoping for?
Also, Russia cannot keep this going indefinitely. The West can. There is some question about whether Ukraine can or can't, but from an endurance perspective, there is absolutely no question who has the upper hand. Nobody west of Ukraine is on a war footing, we're all working our day jobs, taking vacations, and growing our economies.
$350 billion of foreign aid sounds like a lot until you realize the GDP of NATO is more than $55 trillion. We could keep this going forever.
Russia is spending 7-10% of its GDP, and fully half of its federal spending, on the war. And that probably understates because Russia forces war spending onto localities and companies. This will come to an end eventually; time is not on Russia's side.
I really don't think you've considered the scale of these things. Yeah the US burned some billions of dollars and tens of lives. On the scale of the US, this is nothing compared to what Iran is experiencing.
It's not a stalemate. Best current estimates are that oil traffic through Hormuz is back to 80% of pre-war levels. This is not going well for the Iranian regime.
Sometimes bad ideas are just stupidity.
Makes me wonder if this whole operation is just public cover for something like that.
Sadly it does seem pretty normal.
I'm sure my kid will want a "real" computer at some point, but by then he will hopefully have enough maturity to keep it secure. My wife couldn't care less.
"Some random WordPress plugin" is usually the main entry point. The core has a bad track record, but plugins are worse by far.
You and I are not informed enough to speculate like this. Presumably the military planners in Ukraine are competent. If they haven't been striking data centers, it's almost certainly because they prioritize other targets. It won't be because they haven't thought of it or are afraid to do so.
By way of example, "react doesn't have a router" hasn't stopped it from becoming the dominant frontend framework.
During the Battle of Britain, Churchill ordered a bombing attack on Berlin. Consequently, Hitler ordered Göring to switch from attacking military infrastructure to attacking London. This is widely considered to have been a significant strategic mistake that helped the British win the Battle of Britain.
