Spotify: 25,000
Apple Music: 600
… Not trying to make a statement— just sharing cause it’s interesting!
It gave about 20,000 plays which BLEW MY MIND at the time. Nothing like waking up to a huge increase
Today I’m a modest success. Several songs have 1-2m plays on Spotify and I make $800 / month from streaming. It’s just something I do in my evenings for fun.
I owe my success to outlets Indie Shuffle and SubmitHub—- I’ve found Spotify really privileges discovery for major label artists.
Can you imagine YouTube bringing back dislikes for MKBHD?

Misleading is a pretty negative thing to call someones story!
I know I am. Facebook Ads are super effective for me— but I care more about privacy.
They bill months in 4 week intervals— so a month = 28 days which = 13 months per year. This is all in their fine print.

Instead of levelling skepticism at the lawsuit, why not level skepticism at the companies with a collective market cap of ~$2 trillion? Doesn't that seem more constructive?
There's a real failure of imagination in these comments. Working conditions can and have been improved by advocacy. Saying child labour is an inevitable outcome of capitalism is the same argument that was made by slave owners in the south and Industrialists in Britain at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. You're wrong.
