I think it's revelatory that the supply side finds some byproduct (hey we have all these seeds from cotton, can we do anything with them) and then they force a product from it after the fact, and now we are all worse for it. The market is fake.
I think a test ("proscribed" online) was over $200 for a basic panel and Qwest or Labcorp almost didn't want to accept it because it wasn't from a local doctor. I just had my yearly physical (after not going for a few years) and the basic blood panel not including stds was $500 total and only 300 was covered by a fortune 500 company insurance. The cost is prohibitive. Though I have a feeling women get the test for free possibly?
I was just curious - do managers and I guess non-developer roles face this same kind of competition? Or if you're a developer should you just shoot for some other role so you can be safe and load work onto the developers?
There are also implications as to whose names should be on the ownership paperwork if everyone is all participating at a high level, which should be a constant reminder as to where the power is and is kept.
Quizno's failure is a good comparable case study for this type of franchisee model - https://www.mashed.com/132827/the-real-reason-why-quiznos-is... When you don't take care of your operators and actively try to screw them over its no wonder that you fail ultimately. But they were bought out by some point by a vulture capital company that probably just turned those screws tighter on the franchisees.
Whats your idea of underpayment? If a student loan takes 20 years to pay off at allowed monthly payments, that's not underpayment, but lord that is a weight on your neck.
This also would be a hell of a stretch but the reference to the study about pigs getting hit on the head having less brain damage, maybe something in the future along these lines would be a drug football players could take during their career.
I guess I'm a little confused by your answer - are peptides nootropics or sensation-type experiences? I guess I perceive nootropics as like "become smarter" or "having better recall" but this answer makes it seem like a recreational time bound physical experience? I also could see how the mental and physical have blurred boundaries.
The recent whistleblower has also been suggested to be a tactic to control and set the terms of the concern about Facebook, utlimately not challenging its reach as a monopoly but to allow for certain censorship actions that facebook would be more than happy to oblige to do.
Right. It's about the autonomy. I do see a categorical difference between being the guy that gets asked to do something vs the guy whose job is to do the asking. Where does the former turn to? One has flexibility, the other has no where to turn.
