This man added no value other than as an intermediary; he may have added value to Stanford (questionable) but he got rich off land. Nothing more.
Do you also enjoy The Olive Garden?
Make no mistake -- alcohol boards and organizations like MADD are simply neo-prohibiitonist movements co-opted by religious zealots.
Not other companies looking to get my "attention"
hi five
I really wish Microsoft had pulled off Windows Phone; it arguably had a much better user experience than Android did (and still does) -- and interesting Nokia hardware.
I simply don't believe Google has the best interests of anyone at heart except themselves and advertisers.
The next 10 years are going to be very interesting indeed.
Laughable how long it took them -- Honeywell should have completely owned this market.
Next up for disruption is home security.
It also had a unique UI.
"CDS ARE DIGITAL MUSIC!!!"
So yes, Music is extremely important. For anyone.
The sidekick was a phenomenal device. Battery lasted all day -- I could text and had unlimited data over GPRS (maybe EDGE?) - and I was one of the only students who could Google and read in class. I browsed forums, looked up answers, even started essays on that keyboard.
You had a persistent AIM -- and the interface was prettier and more fluid than Android (up to the latest release).
What a delight that device was.
There are people on here, reading this comment right now, who will become fantastically rich.

It's a science experiment.
They fundamentally reinvented mobile phones. They brought real touch screens (resistive doesn't count) to the masses.
They had very real, seemingly obvious now, because they are so utterly perfect (slide to unlock) innovations.
They absolutely have the right to sue a company that is fundamentally a copying lab. Samsung has absolutely nothing to stand on here.
This community is hilarious. I hope when one of you innovates even at 1/1,000th the level of Apple, someone ganks your idea (badly) and see how you feel.
Not "bad" in the sense of rendering or security holes (Read: IE6), but bad in that "experiments" can be "deployed" to users at any time, and a company with the aspergian-tendences of Google has control over that.
I don't think "RSI" by swiping on a screen is your most pressing health concern.
Youtube blocking "mobile playback" of videos is the same as carriers blocking tethering without a specific plan or arbitrary caps (3GB mobile data, 1GB tether)
This is something, across all mobile platforms, we should be fighting tooth and nail.
