Can you imagine Steve Jobs saying stuff like "maximize value for our shareholders"?
Steve was obsessed with providing a user experience that blew people's minds and designing products that changed the world. And he did, repeatedly.
RIM's leadership has no vision, and so there is no chance they will survive.
I say do it, but be okay with not having all the answers right now, but that other revenue opportunities related to your startup will likely manifest themselves.
Mind you, I do have an idea for this. If anyone is interest (even you Ben), hit me up on email.
For instance, we all default to a particular attentional style. To use the actor Woody Allen as an example, he has a classic narrow-internal attentional style (introspective, perhaps slightly neurotic) which suggests he's an introvert, yet these traits works for him socially on many levels.
But is he introverted? I think he and many people transcend that label.

I definitely need an about page with contact info, and some hint of price. More info required before I could go ahead with this.
If maturity and manners were important to investors, they would be screening for it. As far as I know, they are not.
Best of luck, and I will use your service!
Yes, maybe they screwed up (I screw up more by 7am than most people do all day), but when someone apologizes the decent thing to do is accept it and move on with your life (and let them do the same).
Just keep in mind if you post on Google plus and no where else, you are limiting your audience. I, for one, will not read it.
Here's what I suggest you do instead. Every time that feeling comes up, say "yeah sure, I'm a fraud" and keep on working. Keep on shipping. Try it. Actions always speak louder than words anyway.
One more thing. It's the best advice I can give you. Go listen to The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, or read the teachings of Buddha. You are thinking too much and creating suffering for yourself. These books will help you stop.
Let me ask this way: do you always listen to your mind? Are your doubts and worries always right? Why must you validate such unproductive thoughts?
Why not choose a perspective that serves you besGt? You have a choice of what you believe. It's your brain and it's your life.
Time to stop listening and feeling and start executing.
TL;DR Shut up and ship.
One of the requirements is to document everywhere you have lived for the past 16 years, including home addresses. With all the places they have lived in Canada, it's taken them weeks to Columbo up the information.
Myself, I've lived five places in 6 months about 10 years ago (another long story). Recollecting those times and places is something I'd rather not do.
There's a saying that goes it's better to be the worst musician in a band rather than be the best. More room to grow.
I have two Buffer subscriptions, one for myself and one for a client and it has become a must use app.
Good work!
Thanks Jason. Nice work.
But I know the answer to the question "Is there anyone else who can match PayPal feature for feature?" The answer is a clear and resounding no.
But Sweet Moses, I wish there was!
Slap my wrist accordingly.
P.S. I'd like to qualify "good enough". I've poured blood, sweat, tears and spit into ideas that ended up being completely ignored by the world. I still consider them good enough though. I am still proud of what I accomplished.
You are the ultimate decider of what is good enough.
