Also care speed isn't that bad in Europe, I went to a few clinics while I was there with short notice and didn't have any issues. Same as America honestly, the price difference though was way better though.
Just imagine if he worked somewhere private.
Deserve is an interesting phrase, who really does deserve more? The more you go down that rabbit hole the less you'll think people deserve in general.
That said. I only have an associate degree and even I made $70k at a regular tech job working with someone with a PhD. I got lucky though before, too bad he didn't.
Do you agree to pay for a car with no idea the cost? Then find random bills from people who glanced at the car or might be involved even if you didn't meet them? Well too bad if you want to visit a doctor you have to.
In what world should this this possible? I got a in-network nose examine that I'm happy my insurance paid the $1k+ for the 5 min examine to find out my nose was normal. I didn't realize there was a third party bill though, while it wasn't much imagine if I had some $5k examine or $20k examine, I'd not know the difference until I got the bill because it's America. You'd think since the insurance and hospital are same company this could be easier but no, multiple different payment companies for the different types of bills too. I have to look in multiple areas to check everything is paid for. How much more overly complicated can they make it?
Giving a simple answer is not wrong if the long one takes much longer to explain. Multiple factors can be true, I'm sure Russia was uneasy that Siberia wanted to leave and with Ukraine gone they would have no direct access to water there. And the threat of China slowing taking over Russian land *with Russian permission of course*. Russia has attempted to do something even if extremely poorly miscalculated. That's kinda what Russia is known for, doing something and very often failing at it.
They have been lucky, sometimes clever but often terrible truly terrible at long term long planning. Ask their unpatriotic AI what it thinks, they will get mad about it too.
- Those with biological issues, not getting enough sleep or bad nutrition etc
And the combo of those above which becomes much harder to solve and understand since both feed into each other. People might say x or y helped but it could be anywhere in this spectrum.
So that can be crippling when trying to get back to a health state that can handle relationships again. On-ramps to help destress the environment would be helpful too. It's a challenge because we haven't really built many areas where people are welcome to just be, even with 3rd spaces that doesn't those people that are now rewired in their stress state. Some types of maybe community service (clean up, plantings, painting etc) or festivals events might be more helpful here as they can sometimes be lower stress, no required interactions etc. It's a tough thing especially as people have different reasons to isolate though poverty is likely one of the most major ones.
#1 can really be hard when #2-3 never seems to come into the picture for long. It can make anything you do seem like a waste of time. Can you add value, sure, is it worth it? That's where it can be tough.
I think a problem with a lot of this too is lack of real long term community too. But I think some people are just better at managing that naturally.
If you can claim all that why haven't you already?

And are you a good judge on if it's better? Better can be very complicated, it could be better in part and worse in another but it's not wrong to try... (Unless well it really becomes really corrupted) We as people tend to overcorrect and so life will always swing from one end of a spectrum to another.
I think people do want to do good in the world they just get overwhelmed, or think it's impossible, or discredit the small good things they do.
Sometimes people think if you don't do a major good thing all the small things don't add up - honestly though it's often better to do smaller good long term things then a major non lasting one.
Besides the world is getting greener, healthier and happier all the time if you look in the right places. You will always find what you ask for, so look for good and you will find it. I follow so many YouTube channels showing how much the environment is improving and how such small things really get better. I try to sponsor them when I can and I hope to do more in the future too.
I also personally grow local fruit trees and various plants in my backyard to help local native species and while minor I am doing something even if small.
I do love the idea of being able to go up and down though it feels a little awkward to me as I normally have to go way up to go down into the underground due to a lot of level design. I kinda wish they put some more cliffs nearby to save me the time. I like the underground a lot though and find that part the most fun.
The main issue is mindset, a programmer might cut short a design to save himself time, an artist might simplify the gameplay to not put in as much effort, and a musician or writer might not focus as much on the visuals because they get caught up in how it should it sound/read etc. But they certainly can take on other roles. If you have any experience with start-ups and indies or freelancing you might find yourself take over roles you didn't expect originally. On smaller teams this goes a lot further.
Good for the young folks to push back. I remember San Francisco as a scary place, the streets of the poor and homeless had long stretches of dark zombie like people waiting. Just waiting around. At night they would make mini markets casting out ratty clothes hoping someone might pay them or perhaps trade for a shirt or pair of pants found from who knows where, just piles and piles of clothes of no value but to I suppose those who could find it. People who took shelter in whatever was left of a decayed community. Even in my area, a safe uppity hotel while I visited this area for work, I saw them sleep in strange phone booths, barely realizing someone was there but for the light not getting through the door crack. The hidden people locked away. I wonder how many more I never noticed. And at night many floors up you could still hear sometimes someone cry for help echoing out. I'm not really a fan of the city, but there were a few cozy areas well lit with strings of lights and rich expensive meals with street sitting made to take up space. They wanted the streets for themselves. Plants added a cozy factor and so many more trees were found there and the feeling of peace with the people dining and drinking under the cloudy night quietly enjoying the evening. What a strange contrast.
I had to get an uber driver for the bad areas and everyone was scared for me when I went walking by myself at night to go home on one of my trips. I still often would walk though, as perhaps a stupid act of defiance but I really wasn't all that far from my hotel. I remember forgetting a toothbrush once and finding them locked up at Walgreens and had to get help to purchase it. Prized item it was. One day we may even fear walking in the day. We don't know who lives by us, these unknown leftover Americans.
