smm11··on Asahi Linux on M3
I don't understand this. Buy something else to run Linux, as in anything other than Apple M series laptops. And if you want to do AI stuff, suffer with OSX using too much RAM, or again, buy something appropriate.

I feel better after sitting in a steam room two or three times a week. That's proof enough for me.
smm11··on Fixing a 20-year-old bug in Enlightenment E16
Good thread.

I've been going backwards to Afterstep and Window Maker theming. Maybe I'll get back to E in a few years.

smm11··on Protect your shed
Yep, beyond 30 minutes or so I'll just switch rooms and watch a hockey or baseball game. I'm at the "done that" phase now. Not much excites me in the computer space.

Just get a Mac, I guess.
smm11··on My productivity app is a never-ending .txt file (2020)
I have TXT files by week, and sum up each day to the bottom of each day of the week if that makes sense.

Then the next week's new file has the pasted-over to-do items on top.

These were OneNote/Sharepoint files forever until earlier this year. Now they live on my local network, backed up, glaciered.

smm11··on Craft software that makes people feel something
