skyfantom··on Show HN: A Claude Code skill to analyze your chess games
Thanks for playing both. Did you by chance try to play vs computer on medium or hard level?

Is not it quite easy to defend against this attack simply putting a pawn before kind?

skyfantom··on Show HN: A Claude Code skill to analyze your chess games
You say chess and I’m here to shamelessly promote my “coin chess” version:)

skyfantom··on I asked astra to make playable 4D chess
Not astra made but my mom and nephew say it's a fun thing to play https://chesspoly.com (https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/chesspolly/id6798789898)
skyfantom··on Show HN: GitHub Dashboard aka GitBiased
Hey, thanks for kind words)

Web app is available https://gitbiased.com/

skyfantom··on Show HN: GitHub Dashboard aka GitBiased
It has MCP server, you need to get the key in settings.
skyfantom··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026)
One of the projects I’d like to highlight is Cheaspoly.

It’s an attempt to make chess a bit more, you know real:) Like countries buy armies, chess kings can buy figures. Also it’s easy to bring these new rules into offline games.

It’s quite early stage yet, but you can give it whirl at https://chesspoly.com/

skyfantom··on A Compiler Writing Journey
This hopefully can be useful as well https://space4links.com/r/writing-a-compiler
skyfantom··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (October 2025)
Working (or better say playing) on LLM + Stocks Market analysis.

https://ftocks.com

Next in the plans is adding more models and compare which one gives better results.

skyfantom··on Datastar: Lightweight hypermedia framework for building interactive web apps
Didn't find anything about this on the main page.
skyfantom··on Which table format do LLMs understand best?
Super surprised, I would expect CSV to beat all the others. And Markdown KV is something I hear first time about.
skyfantom··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (July 2025)
I'm working on my LLM for stocks price prediction. Recently added tracking results and now working on making prompts dynamic:

skyfantom··on Ruby 3.5 Feature: Namespace on read
As much as I enjoy using Elixir, I’m not sure at the moment learning Elixir over Ruby gives more options for being hired.

Open any “Who is hiring” and compare number of Elixir positions vs Ruby.

skyfantom··on Show HN: Ftocks – Everyday I'm asking LLM to give me stock price predictions
Well. That's a good question. My assumption is that LLMs absorbed enough data and can predict at least how normal people will set these lines (open, close etc).

Next step is to explore how god these forecasts are. Although I don't think they will always green, but if for example 51% of them are good I'll call it a win.

skyfantom··on Show HN: Ftocks – Everyday I'm asking LLM to give me stock price predictions
No. But I do have in plans 1. to track results and 2. try different prompts.

Currently I’m working on adding interactive chats. Chats where users add some financial data automatically into messages. Something like:

“Please analyze {historical_data(10, days)} and also check {news}. Give me some recommendations based on these data”

skyfantom··on Show HN: Ftocks – Everyday I'm asking LLM to give me stock price predictions
It's true. I was thinking about also posting requests to LLMs I use to get these recommendations. But again, I can lie about answers. I wonder if there is a way to make it 100% transparent (or reproducible).
skyfantom··on Which open-source projects are widely used but maintained by just a few people?
brew
skyfantom··on Ask HN: Non-violent video games with great stories?
There is a book called “Thief” written by Alexey Pechov - https://www.librarything.com/nseries/17743/%D0%A5%D1%80%D0%B...

Though the author declines connections between book and game. Name of the main character is the same as in game ;)

skyfantom··on Ask HN: Non-violent video games with great stories?
Wow, I used to play Age of Mythology a lot. Apart from god plot it had cool god’s fighting scenes.
skyfantom··on Ask HN: Non-violent video games with great stories?
Also I like spend evenings playing Civilization where I prefer to see achieve cultural or money wins.
skyfantom··on Ask HN: Non-violent video games with great stories?
Siberia.
skyfantom··on Russian premier minister asks IT folks not to leave the country

skyfantom··on Can't uninstall Adobe apps without an account (2018)
I think I would like to use Photoshop. But Creative Cloud stops me, once upon a time I was needed to delete Adobe apps from PC and it was a nightmare. Nowadays you can't install Adobe apps without Creative Cloud.

skyfantom··on My project about BDD tests to Living Documentation
I have not used xUint, and can't compare, thanks for mention I will look. But there is always some ways to improve messed tests, like page objects or page components and so on.

BDD methodology in opinion serves to business goals. And it is not only about syntax, but about whole way to make projects.

skyfantom··on My project about BDD tests to Living Documentation
Thank you for ideas. Yes, search box and tags are going to be implemented in the next release.

I love that idea, about snippets, and it may works as 'fork this project into my account'.

anyway, thank you

skyfantom··on Show HN: Site with information about stocks
Hello. That's a point to make data easy to read. Datasource is https://www.worldtradingdata.com

About P/E it could be great, but that requires to find datasource of financial reports. But, I think I know where I can get it.

skyfantom··on Ask HN: How do you currently solve authentication?
Thanks for the link, Rodoauth looks interesting. Especially that all JWT things is already included.
skyfantom··on Ask HN: How do you currently solve authentication?
In some Rails projects i use Device gem, or simpler version made by my own (salted passwords in database, and user_id as jwt in session store).
skyfantom··on RethinkDB is shutting down
Удачи)
skyfantom··on Show HN: Simple board for Redmine tasks (React\Redux)
Everything keeps on client-side, i mean token and url in the localStorage. Server needs only for send requests (all this things about CORS).

Works with React and Redux. If there will be any interets, i will continue work.

#TODO 1. Detail information about task in modal window. 2. Control issues from the board.
