This might not be 100% correct, but from what I understand it was never on an app store, rather the phone was sold and distributed as is - an untraceable phone with apps preinstalled

Ok found my source:

> The Australian Federal Police then planted the devices with the pre-loaded AN0M into the hands of criminals by using several key criminal “influencers” – Australia’s Mafia Man, and Sydney fugitive Hakan Ayik, who is hiding out in Turkey.

> Sydney fugitive Hakan Ayik, who is hiding out in Turkey, was one of AN0M’s biggest spruikers to the criminal underworld. Sydney fugitive Hakan Ayik, who is hiding out in Turkey, was one of AN0M’s biggest spruikers to the criminal underworld. Police say Ayik and Mafia Man convinced their associates to use the devices, a move which gave police real-time access to every message, photograph or voice-message sent.

Amazing thanks! I'll have a dig through. I'm incredibly fascinated with video codecs but it does my head in.

People have managed to tune into the raw video stream via RTL-SDR. I'm guessing this IP is post this step and internal to their streaming

Important question! ACCC have quite the powers here that I see lacking in say the US
skeletonjelly··on Calibre – E-Book Management
Haven't used it in a little bit, but from memory most of my flow for this was drag and drop. Drag the source onto Calibre, then drag that to the Kindle logo up top.

skeletonjelly··on Initial preview of GUI app support for the Windows Subsystem for Linux
Yep this. SQL Server using RAM is by design. If it's using too much because you're using it for dev work then you can simply limit the amount it can access. RAM is there to be used!

Interesting to see what Troy Hunt does next considering they send him free stuff[1] and he speaks highly of them. He's so far only said it's "obviously a really bad look"[2]

skeletonjelly··on Firefox 85 cracks down on supercookies
Can you be tracked within the private browsing mode though? For instance in Chrome private tabs I know if you log in to something then open a new tab, that tab retains the cookies from the private session until you close all private tabs. Is this the same with Firefox? I'm hesitant to install yet another extension but I'm wondering if this one mentioned elsewhere in this thread will fix it, if it is the case with firefox

skeletonjelly··on FBI agents track cell phones that pinged near the Capitol
Your point was clearly the broader law-enforcement tracking, you sought to draw a comparison between the two events to ask why one had been an infosec focus of law enforcement.
