skbohra123··on Ask HN: Leaving as founder, what happens with equity?
What stage the company is in? If it's too early stage, I don't think anyone can predict the success and it might end up as just another failed startup. Remember, the startup is more about execution. I would suggest to contact a lawyer to get any credible advise on it.
skbohra123··on How the Wright Brothers Blew It (2003)
Fascinating read, any innovator would relate to it. It's always in the hindsight that we can pin point the errors they made, but there's a lesson for all of us in here.
skbohra123··on Morocco poised to become a solar superpower with launch of desert mega-project
India also have a large desert area in the state of Rajasthan and most of the the solar projects have been installed in that area only.
skbohra123··on Morocco poised to become a solar superpower with launch of desert mega-project
The article talks about total capacity of plants being 580MW. If that would make Morocco a solar superpower, I am sure India and many other countries already have solar capacity more than that.
skbohra123··on Population.io – The World Population Project
That animation with population count seems fake, no Indian or Chinese born in last 5 minutes I have been looking at it!
skbohra123··on 14-Year-Old Boy Arrested for Bringing Homemade Clock to School
Many comments here on HN seem to feel that this is an issue with Education system or schools. But I as a non American feel is that a common American is too afraid of anything non American or anything strange. The main objective of terrorist organizations is to instill fear in the minds of people and I think they have succeeded in it to a greater extent.
skbohra123··on Ancient Tomb in Spain Destroyed and Replaced with a Picnic Table
You are not serious, right?
skbohra123··on A Ghost Ship Drifting Through International Waters
Btw, debris of MH370 was recently located https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Airlines_Flight_370
skbohra123··on I accidentally had a popular political live stream
Not everything has to be done following the rules, sometimes the best things come out when you don't care about the rules.
skbohra123··on I spent the last 15 years trying to become an American and failed
Minor nit pick, 'losing' not 'loosing'.
skbohra123··on Why did crime plummet in the US?
I am getting a 404 as soon as I click on any of the links

skbohra123··on Recommending items to more than a billion people
Please don't do it, however great technical feat it is, the truth is, it sucks. I hate those the most in facebook.
skbohra123··on Why are more than 10M homes vacant in India?
An article without much substance, just couple of figures and speculations but no deeper study.
skbohra123··on Kickstarter switches to Stripe
Does this mean that you no longer have to to be in US/UK/Canada for starting a campaign on Kickstarter?
skbohra123··on The Streaming Stick Built on Firefox OS
I own Chromecast and it does require the USB cable for the device to turn on and work
skbohra123··on Twitter Digits
Transactional SMS doesn't come under DND, so there's no restriction on that.
skbohra123··on India’s Downward Spiral
Article is from 2012, can someone please edit the title to mention that?
skbohra123··on Lecture 8: How to Start a Startup
Sam, can you please add a <title/> tag to this page? That would really make it easy to find the tab.
skbohra123··on Giant leap against Diabetes
Can anyone with knowledge about the topic shed some light on it and tell if it's really a big breakthrough or just like another PR post by labs to attract and justify more funding?
skbohra123··on The Nobel Peace Prize 2014
Good to see finally Noble Peace prize is awarded to people worthy of it, not to the people worthy for the organization.
skbohra123··on Microsoft Xim
Not compatible with Moto G (Android KitKat), this is the first app I have came across which is not compatible with this device.

Edit - "Xim will initially be available in US and Canada only; we plan to add additional country support shortly" Ah!

skbohra123··on ISRO Mars Orbiter Mission: Spacecraft successfully enters Martian Orbit

Webcast of the event can be seen here http://webcast.isro.gov.in/
skbohra123··on Amazon Prepares Online Advertising Program
*edit - Tired of these armchair analysts dismissing anything new coming outright. Not a kind of mentality I would expect from someone interested in startups.

Ok, But no one asked if it will work or not. And your comment doesn't have any extraordinary analysis or information that someone with even a small understanding of the topic wouldn't know.

skbohra123··on Show HN: Impraise – Easy continuous feedback at work (YC S14)
Surprised to see a YC company doing an android app before the iOS app! Are we seeing a shift?
skbohra123··on Hillhacks – Hacking and Making in the Himalayas
Link to the website is here[0]. This certainly looks like an awesome event to attend.

skbohra123··on Navdy: HUD for your car
I think the point they want to make is that no matter how dangerous it is to operate your mobile phone while driving, a lot of people do it. So, I think replacing that with a HUD like this might just be safer than using your mobile while driving.
