Why don't people want to land down there? Is it too rough a surface, more so than at higher elevation? Would it be feasible to land outside the basin and make your way down?
> Any type of weapon by whatever name known which will, or which may readily be converted to expel a projectile, by the action of an explosive or other propellant, the barrel or barrels of which have a bore greater than one-half inch in diameter.
Hmm, guess that would technically cover potato canons? Though the exemptions include

I'm not sure what you mean with your second half though, are you suggesting detaining people during this period and pro-rating their sentence and/or paying them? Or are you saying that they should wait outside of jail, but still have it counted towards their sentence? I don't quite follow exactly. Edit: seems the latter. I'm not sure my opinion, having a case looming over you seems potentially difficult, especially if you're later found innocent, but should the government (/citizens) foot the bill for that?
Edit: compared to my prior experience where one bag was free.
The Delta Amex appears to have an annual fee of $550. Not sure what the cost over the various nickels and dimes are, but for most of us who don't fly often, I suspect they're cheaper. Frequently flyers like yourself may find more value in their programs.
I suspect the same goes for hotels, although I'm curious what sort of things you're counting towards your "better experience" with the larger chains that the "mom and pops" aren't offering, in my (limited) experience, the smaller places are often better, because they can't afford to lose the business and "go the extra mile."
I'm not super familiar with the Fairphones, but it seems you'd be more likely to have a better experience on (eg) FDroid, which is without the Google bloat. I will admit, I have not tried it, though. To the second half of that though, re:Disney/Marvel - they definitely have a bigger budget toward huge actions shots, but storywise, they are often pretty thin, imo.
For pizza - it seems this will vary hugely per person. For instance, my favorite pizza, across all I've ever tried, is still a frozen Jack's pizza. Not quite the cheapest available, but very close.
I guess my point is, the more expensive options can definitely have an appeal for various, valid reasons, but that doesn't invalidate the cheaper options as maybe "better" options for some people.
The second I got dropped solo and ... won the game. That felt a bit silly, I'm not that good. I haven't been back since though.
In general, I don't disagree with your post, but even "cheap" RPG-7 (or a more modern, NATO equivalent) would be an effective method of, if nothing else, slowing enemy tanks. In general, "boom wtf was that" is going to stop an advance even if it doesn't kill the tank.
> Typically, the core stages of similar rockets that reach orbit fire their engines again after releasing their payloads. That allows them to be aimed at unpopulated areas, like the middle of an ocean, when they fall from orbit.
If this is not accurate, my mistake. I took them at their word and don't really know anything more than that about the process.
Edit: didn't realize this would be a controversial comment; per the article, the "norm" is to have a burn again after releasing their payload, to "control" / direct the return. The Chinese aren't doing that, which has apparently lead so far to a village-damaging crash in the Ivory Coast. If the US has done a similar thing, if this was common practice in the past, I'm not familiar with it as I'm entirely naive on the topic.
Edit: for example, I think that your other post with the five bullet points could hold up to reasonable scrutiny when presented to the pro-cop crowd, but would likely fall on deaf ears with them if you lead off with the paramilitary framing.
